We've hit 500 members!SBC News
What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

I had to write over 18,000 words today for that. I even had to miss Glee. AND I NEVER MISS GLEE.
Oh well. It was worth it.

You missed a great episode. It'll probably be on Hulu or Fox.com tomorrow.

I saw from when Sam and Quinn sang "Time of My Life" onward. I was thoroughly confused.

If you can deal with it being pretty much just one entire block of text. I don't think I can be un-lazy for long enough to manually put in line breaks for every new paragraph.

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
They e-mailed me saying I was eligible to receive one. Well, actually, I wasn't eligible since I had to be 18 or older (but I lied. Hehe.), but it's pretty much beta testing at the moment (even though I thought Chrome OS was released at the end of November...), since Chrome OS is still rather... clunky, you could say (seriously... you can't use iTunes. That's just such a huge turn-off.) Apparently it ended today, but the page itself said it ends on the 21st, so... I dunno.

So, I got a 192% on my History quiz today. Brought my grade up from a C+ to a solid B.
Pretty awesome.
...Yeah, that's all I got. Slow day.
BASK IN MY GENIUSNESS OF PAYING ATTENTION DURING HISTORY VIDEOS AND TAKING CORRECT NOTES!

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Every question was worth 2 points and he only graded 11 of them so it ended up being out of 22. Everything else you got correct was another 2 points extra credit. I got a 42/22 (only because we didn't finish the video and there were still three questions left at the end that we couldn't answer).

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Okay, so...
On Monday, I have a History test, which I need at least a B+ on to have my average not go down.
On Tuesday, I have an Algebra 2 test on Systems of Equations and Absolute Values, which I need to get an A on if I want to maintain my average and have a chance of moving up to a higher Algebra 2 class.
On Wednesday, I have two vocab quizzes; one in French and one in English. I need to get an A on my English one and a B on my French one if I want to raise or maintain my averages.
Then throughout the entire week I'm doing Bio work without a lab partner because the one I had was a complete idiot and decided to skip class every chance he got, so he got suspended until after mid-terms. I'm not too worried about it, though, since I still have an A in that class and I've gotten perfect scores on everything aside from a couple assignments. But still, working alone while everyone else has a partner is annoying.
And I have an English report on Death of a Salesman...
And I have to keep up my daily work-out schedule, which is two hours of work-out every day...
And I have to somehow finish painting a landscape for Art which is due in two classes, as well as do four sketchbook assignments that are due when I get back from break...
AND I have to shop for my Secret Santa, even though I have no clue what to get her because I've hardly ever talked to her, and I have to give it to her on Thursday, even though I'm not going to see her because I don't have a class with her other than French, which we don't have because of an assembly where we get to sing Christmas songs (UGH).
*sigh*...

We have a "$12ish" limit. I'm not entirely sure I can get a gift card that has a value of $12ish.

Yeah, but the point of a Secret Santa is to help the needy, isn't it? I don't think the needy would have an iPod or even a computer as they are not necessities.

But you said Secret Santa has to do with helping the needy, which it doesn't. And besides, I'm pretty sure 99% of high schoolers have an iPod. But, regardless, I already know what I'm going to get her, I just need to find a cheaper way to get it (since I'd end up paying $25 in shipping to get it here in-time).
Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Man...
Whatta time for me to get sick, eh? Preventing me from doing adequate in school and not allowing me to go see Tangled (EVERY FRICKIN' TIME I WANT TO SEE THAT SOMETHING GETS IN THE WAY). And over Christmas. Bleh.
Only good part is me maybe not having to go to my cousin's house for Christmas Eve, since I'm the only teenage guy there in a room full of college girls (which would be awesome if I wasn't related to them).
