We've hit 500 members!SBC News
What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

One kid in my group was bitching that I only gave him 10 points [we had 100 points to divide amongst our groups] and he kept complaining that I didn't deserve the grade I got, so I'd be more enthusiastic if he would've just shut up and realized he did next to nothing. Oh well.
By the by, the same kid did better than me in Art. And he's not artistic.
I fucking hate making sculptures -.-

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Turns out my DS will cost $60 to fix.
Sold my old iPod to my aunt for $40, added on to my $20 that I already had.
Shipping out tomorrow, finally -.- Downside is that it takes 10 business days to fix, and the 3DS is already on it's way, so it's really not even worth it... But whatever. I've gotten into competitive Pokemon [call me a nerd. I dare you.] so I really need a DS ASAP, and hopefully I'll have a fully trained team in time for a tournament. Then again, I really don't want to ask my mom for a ride to a Pokemon Tournament [seriously, that's one of the reasons I quit Yu-Gi-Oh just a couple months ago; I don't care if she's my mom, it's embarrassing], so unless my friends get into competitive play, I won't be attending anything until AFTER Black and White come out [since I get my license at the end of December... Stupid procrastination >.>]

Kristy isn't talking to me anymore.
If my DSi wasn't already broken, I'd break it again.

I don't even know anymore. At first I was thinking Cody was just making her not talk to me, but now I can't tell if she's doing it out of force or not.
I feel like crying. I am not kidding.

Out of school.
Yay. Now I get to listen to my mom nag me every waking moment about getting a job, even though she doesn't understand that no place in town is hiring, and if they are, they're grocery stores which I will never work at, or it's Aeropostle/Hollister/American Eagle/other designer clothing stores that I refuse to wear or acknowledge and working for them would be working for the enemy.

God, that immensely sucks, dude Maybe she's ashamed or something like that. I think 70's may be expressing the truth-she probably is no longer worth it. Have you considered volunteering as maybe a lifeguard? Then again, you'll need to be CPR and First Aid certified as part of the prerequisites or in order to qualify, which you probably aren't.terminoob wrote:Out of school.

I'm skilled in many fields, but CPR and First Aid escape me.

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
He was yelling at my mom about me while I was downstairs getting something to eat. He would've said that to my face if I was upstairs, though. He yelled at me for about 3 minutes straight when I came home without my permit back in June (after which I wasn't sure if I wanted to just cry or cut myself), so I don't think he gives a crap if he makes me feel bad or not.

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Meh. I'm not going to wish my grandpa wasn't alive, but I just wish he'd shut up about everything, seeing as how the only way he can talk is through yelling. After he yelled at me for failing my permit test, everyone yelled at him to stop cussing and yelling at everything I do, which worked for about two days. Then he was back to his normal, sailor mouth self.

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
Well, that's a license. This is just a learner's permit. Everyone at my school has gotten it on their first try. Except me. I only just got the drive (hehe... pun) to go and get it (after... 5 months of not caring at all), since the-girl-who-no-one-here-but-me-likes-,-you-know-the-girl-I-am-talking-about told me if I could get my license then she would consider going out with me because we'd be able to see each other more often.

Today I found out that MIT has a program called "Splash". It takes place over the course of two days, and has pretty much everything you can think of.
I am extremely glad "How to Dance like Napoleon Dynamite" is a walk-in course. I really want to use most of my time taking either "How to Fail at Cosplay" or "How to Weave Chainmail".

So! I get to write 2 pages on Catcher in the Rye, do a Power Point project with 15 slides on a biome of my choice, work on a lab that requires us to watch Finding Nemo, AND draw two still life objects twice!
All with having limited computer access tomorrow, meaning I get to do this all TODAY!

Re: terminoob: Behind the Scenes
So, because I'm going on a diet to lose weight (even though I'm 130 pounds... I'm pretty sure that's beginning to be just muscle now), I have to eat healthier. Unfortunately, the only thing close to a healthy snack we have in my house are apples. I say "unfortunately" because I'm allergic to apple skins (or so I thought...)
I decided to cut the apple skin off and just dip the apples in peanut butter that way. Turns out I'm not allergic to apple skin, but raw apples. Now my throat is scratchy and I'm eating peanut butter out of a bowl with a spoon.
Joy.

Today, I got free candy from an attractive girl in my French class. For what reason, I do not know.
Kinda sucks that I don't eat sweets anymore, but whatever. Free candy! From an attractive girl!
