Christmas Who? - 116 points

Sandy is decorating a tree with lights for Christmas, but SpongeBob, who has never heard of Christmas before, is confused and thinks that her dome is on fire. After he tries to put it out, Sandy teaches him about Christmas, which SpongeBob passes on to the rest of the residents in Bikini Bottom.

Everybody is excited except Squidward, who doesn't believe in Santa Claus and doesn't want to celebrate Christmas. SpongeBob takes everyone else's wishes to Santa and shoots them up to the surface. Bikini Bottom then gets together to sing "Very First Christmas to Me", while decorating and preparing for Santa.

Unfortunately, Santa doesn't come, which causes everybody to turn away from SpongeBob. Squidward, however, is overjoyed and comes out to take a picture of SpongeBob's sad state. But when he sees SpongeBob's present for him, he feels like a (*hee-haw hee-haw*) big jerk. So he decides to make it up to SpongeBob by posing as Santa Claus Of course, this means he has to give all his stuff away to the citizens of Bikini Bottom. But at the end of the charade, he recieves a note from the real Santa Claus, who zooms by on his sleigh.

This is the only episode where I had to visit the second page of Google Images for a framegrab. Minor inconvenience notwithstanding, this episode is great.

I think this is the episode that made me a SpongeBob fan during Christmas 2007 It's such a feel-good episode, love it to pieces, and the song too ^^

The Camping Episode - 118 points

Squidward is thrilled when the day comes that SpongeBob and Patrick leave to go camping. He is not so thrilled, however, when he discovers that they're camping 10 feet from their house. He goes to ask about it, and SpongeBob explains that it doesn't matter where you are when camping, as long as you're outside. He then tells Squidward to "have fun inside", which irritates him, as he thinks SpongeBob's implying he can't take it, and ends up joining the crew.

First, he tries to set up his own tent, but when he fails, he decides that sleeping under the stars is better. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward then eat some marshmallows, but after Patrick continuously spits them in Squidward's face, Squidward asks what else they do for fun. SpongeBob and Patrick then proceed to show Squidward "The Campfire Song Song" as relaxing entertainment. Squidward, however, disagrees and proceeds to play his clarinet. Horrified, SpongeBob and Patrick quickly shoot a marshmallow down Squidward's clarinet. The reason being that playing the clarinet badly could attract a sea bear. Squidward, however, doesn't believe in sea bears, but listens to SpongeBob and Patrick's advice on what not to do if you don't want to attract a sea bear. Squidward then proceeds to do all the things on their list, and no sea bear comes. SpongeBob suggests that it's because Squidward isn't wearing his sombrero in a goofy fashion, but a sea bear comes along to fix it. He then attacks Squidward multiple times, while SpongeBob and Patrick stay safe inside their anti-sea bear circle. Squidward tries to draw one too, but it comes out as an oval. He then squeezes in with SpongeBob and Patrick, and the sea bear finally leaves!

Squidward is grateful to SpongeBob and Patrick for saving his life, but that gratefulness is shortlived when a sea rhinoceros comes along, and everyone is wearing their anti-sea rhinoceros undergarments... except for Squidward.

When Squidward hears about Squilliam's success with his band, he makes it up that he has a band and they're going to play at the Bubble Bowl. Squilliam says he will see them there. Squidward has only a few days now to form a band!

He posts flyers everywhere (including Larry's shower). After arriving late, he greets his band. Unfortunately, Day 1 ends with Patrick kicking Sandy, but ultimately getting his head stuck in a trombone.

Day 2 has the band marching, with Squidward wanting the flag twirlers to keep moving faster. They finally twirl the flags so fast that they fly into the air and explode on contact with a blimp.

On Day 3, Squidward checks up on Plankton's harmonica solo. Plankton replies that it's going tremendously, despite having to run great lengths to play it and collapsing in the end.

Finally's Squidward suggests that playing louder might make people think they're good. He soon dismisses that claim after trying it out, and then suggests that they play so quietly no one can hear them. Someone in the band then brings up Mr. Krabs' big meaty claws, and a fight between them ensues. SpongeBob tries to make peace, but it doesn't work, and the fight continues until band practice is over. As they make their way outside, they run into Squidward, who says that they took his one chance at happiness and crushed it. He also tells them not to bother showing up tomorrow, and leaves. SpongeBob then gives the band members a pep talk, and begins to lead the band himself.

The next day, Squidward dejectedly makes it to the Bubble Bowl, and he sees that Squilliam has shown up, much to his horror. His band has shown up too, much to his greater horror! He has no choice but to conduct them in the Bubble Bowl. To his surprise, and even more to Squilliam's, they rock! Squidward rejoices as Squilliam is taken away on an ambulance from shock.

I really don't have a problem with the final three turning out the way it did, but it was so obvious that Chocolate with Nuts would finish first

Chocolate with Nuts - 141 points

After recieving Squidward's mail by mistake, SpongeBob gets the idea that he and Patrick should become entrepeneurs. So they decide to sell chocolate bars door-to-door. Unfortunately, their first customer (Tom) is a bit crazy, so they move on to the next guy, whom they buy candy bar carrying bags from. Then they move on to the next guy, who seems suspiciously similar to the guy that sold them the candy bar carrying bags, but they end up buying candy bar carrying bag carrying bags from him! This continues for awhile, until they get an actual customer, but can't give them a chocolate bar in time. Then Tom comes back, chasing them.

At a diner, SpongeBob and Patrick contemplate on why they're not selling any chocolate bars. They then try to think about how that one guy sold them the candy bar bags. They realize that when he called them mediocre, he made them feel special. So they set out again, as SpongeBob tells Patrick to flatter the customer. Unfortunately, he lays it on too thick when he tells the next customer he loves him. They ultimately didn't make a sale, because the customer had a bad past with chocolate. Instead, Patrick ends up buying 10 photos of the guy at age 13.

SpongeBob then gets the idea that they're not focused enough, so he tells Patrick to focus. When they reach the next house, Patrick focuses so much that the customer shuts the door on his eyes. After that, SpongeBob and Patrick pass a sign advertising Barnacle Chips as delicious, which SpongeBob says is a lie. Then they get the idea to stretch the truth about their merchandise (and soon after, Tom comes back).

SpongeBob and Patrick finally find a customer in two old (or "young") ladies when Patrick tells the mother that if you rub the chocolate on your skin, you live forever. SpongeBob and Patrick then find many more customers in people when they stretch the truth. Finally, they plot their biggest lie yet when they dress up in bandages and crutches. But the customer has one-upped them at their own game, and they end up buying chocolate bars from him! It doesn't help that the bandaged man turned out to be the shady salesperson from earlier.

Just when it seems like hope has run out for the two entrepeneurs, Tom comes back again, wanting to buy all their chocolate! After making tons of money, SpongeBob and Patrick rent out an entire fancy restaurant for themselves and their dates (the "young ladies" from before).

Well, there you have it! Kudos to Jelly for correctly guessing the Top 4, and kudos to her and the rest of the people who sent their lists in! Thanks also to the others who commented.

I can call this a fair/unfair(*cough* 4Ever *cough*) list.

I'd say this was a fair list, it got better during the 20's and 30's, at least. But I'm happy with the top 10.
But I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to try this out again maybe in a year or so, to be fair, maybe if we promote it a little more and get more people to vote, etc. To avoid the reasons Steely posted above =/

Yeah, I was hoping for a larger turnout. Maybe we could try this again sometime.
