What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

16. "I told you that shirt was hideous!"
Fear of a Krabby Patty - 47 points
(3 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: 1 #1 vote, Steel Sponge)
To compete with Plankton's 23-hour service, Mr. Krabs changes his service to 24 hours! While SpongeBob is initially excited about the idea, Squidward is not. As the days go on, both look and act worse for wear from lack of sleep. SpongeBob becomes so discombobulated that he begins to fear Krabby Patties! He decides to go see Dr. P. Lankton for some psychiatric help.
When he gets there. Dr. P. Lankton (aka Plankton) uses some "psychiatric techniques" to try and get the information for the Krabby Patty formula from him. But nothing works! Finally, he decides to put SpongeBob to sleep, where he has a dream about a Krabby Patty coming into his bedroom! The Krabby Patty gives him a cookie and chocolate milk, and SpongeBob is cured. When Plankton finally wakes him up, he goes back to the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs tells him that there will be no more 24-hour shifts... because 23 hours will be plenty!

Re: The SBC Top 50 episodes list
I have a like-hate relationship with this episode. Some instances I like this episode because of its witty writing and great animation. Other instances I hate this episode because of its reused plot line of the Krusty Krab staying open 24/7 and the somewhat cheesiness of SpongeBob being afraid of krabby patties.
I don't know where it would be if it was on my list or if it would even be on my list of Top 50, but that's just me =/

I thought "Really? this episode this high?" and then I realized I was one of the others that voted for it xD I do love this episode, there's something about it that always makes me laugh, and being a psychology junkie, I loved it's references to Freud

15. "FINLAND!"
Frankendoodle - 48 points
(3 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #5, CF)
When an artist at sea drops his pencil into the sea, he learns a valuable lesson to bring a spare pencil, and SpongeBob and Patrick discover the magic pencil. After having fun drawing jellyfish and mustaches, SpongeBob finally decides to draw himself. SpongeBob's drawing comes to life, but it turns out to be evil. It beats up Squidward and wants to erase SpongeBob. So SpongeBob erases all of DoodleBob but his arm, and goes to bed satisfied. Unfortunately, DoodleBob's arm is all he needs to re-draw himself, and he does so.
He comes into SpongeBob's house at night, bent on erasing SpongeBob. They have a duel with pencils, and it ends when DoodleBob gets his foot stuck on a piece of paper, and SpongeBob traps him in a book. The next day, SpongeBob and Patrick send the magic pencil back up to the surface, where the artist discovers it. He is overjoyed to have his pencil back, but when it breaks, he learns another lesson: always bring a pencil sharpener.

14. "I say we take a bath!"
I Had an Accident - 52 points
(3 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #4, Steel Sponge)
After breaking his butt and getting a warning that he could end up wearing the Iron Butt if he's not careful, SpongeBob decides to just sit at home for the rest of his life, along with his new friends, Penny, Chip, and Used Napkin. Sandy and Patrick try to get him off of his feet and back outside, but nothing works. Finally, they resort to Patrick dressing up in a gorilla suit and threatening Sandy. SpongeBob doesn't buy it, but then a real gorilla comes dressed in a Patrick suit! The gorilla puts Sandy and Patrick in a bag and torments them.
SpongeBob tries to convince himself that they were asking for it by being outside, but Used Napkin and Chip convince him to go outside and save his friends. Unfortunately, he gets torn in half by the gorilla, but then he questions what a gorilla is doing under the sea in the first place. The gorilla tenses up and rides away on his zebra. The camera then cuts to a family watching, probably as confused as anyone else would be.

Re: The SBC Top 50 episodes list
I like I Had an Accident, but it would be somewhere on 30-50 on my list.
Re: The SBC Top 50 episodes list
This episodes has some of the funniest Sandy/Patrick moments, if not, the best ones. Reeally funny lines overall. What always threw me off a bit was the ending, but it's part of the humor and I've learned to love it. Fair placing on the list, IMO.
Re: The SBC Top 50 episodes list
My lines for each episode are all one-liners, but if they weren't, I would have picked this:
Patrick: Now I need to find a new best friend. Hey Squidward-!
Squidward: No!
It just kills me every time. xD
ETA: Changed some of the lines from previous episodes on the list, because I didn't think they were good enough.

13. "Hey, I'm no ghost! The nerve of that guy and his driving eyeballs!"
Pranks a Lot - 59 points
(4 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #3, 4EverGreen)
SpongeBob takes Patrick to Palace Pranks, where they buy a can of invisible spray. Initially, SpongeBob comes up with the idea of spraying the park bench and sitting on it so people would think they're floating in midair. Patrick agrees, and they both take their clothes off because the invisible spray stains clothes. But they soon fight over who gets to spray it, and end up spraying their clothes. They then waste the rest of the invisible spray on each other, but a guy who thinks they're ghosts gives them another idea: to spook everyone in Bikini Bottom!
After scaring Sandy, Mrs. Puff, Squidward, and everyone else, there's only one left: Mr. Krabs, who claims he isn't scared of ghosts. He isn't scared because he has all his anti-ghost armour, anti-ghost rituals, and his spectre-deflecter! SpongeBob and Patrick enter the Krusty Krab, intent on scaring Mr. Krabs. They do so, causing Mr. Krabs to find an escape route, and fast! But SpongeBob and Patrick have already glued the doors shut, replaced all the glass with rubber, and clogged all the toilets! Just as they're about to burn a dollar, Mr. Krabs throws a bucket of water over the match, also washing off their invisible spray. Now, it's SpongeBob and Patrick who are horrified! Mr. Krabs reassures them that there are no hard feelings, and SpongeBob and Patrick leave. But not before Mr. Krabs presents LIVE NUDE PRANKSTERS! SpongeBob bemoans to Patrick that they should have gone with the whoopie cushion.

12. "Look at me! I'm a guy with a mustache!"
The Paper - 61 points
(4 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #6, Clappy)
When Squidward litters a gum wrapper in front of SpongeBob's house, SpongeBob runs up to grab it to offer it back to Squidward. Squidward replies in the negative, saying that he does not want the piece of paper. So SpongeBob decides to keep it for himself, and has a ball with it. Squidward tries to enjoy himself as well, but it's hard while SpongeBob is enjoying that paper so much. He finally caves, and asks SpongeBob for the paper back. SpongeBob refuses, remembering the promise he made Squidward. So Squidward finally offers to trade everything, even the shirt off his back, for it. SpongeBob accepts, and Squidward gets the paper. Unfortunately, he can't quite use it the way SpongeBob could. Patrick finally takes Squidward's paper to spit his gum into.

SpongeBob Meets the Strangler - 64 points
(5 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #8, The Cartoon)
SpongeBob helps police officers arrest a litterbug, who turns out to be the Tattletale Strangler. SpongeBob is now worried, and looks for a bodyguard to protect him, but everyone else is scared of the Strangler too! SpongeBob finally meets up with the Tattletale Strangler, wearing a mustache. This is enough for SpongeBob not to recognize him, so he asks the Strangler if he can be his bodyguard. The Strangler agrees.
The Strangler wants to get to SpongeBob's home as fast as possible so he can strangle- er, protect him. SpongeBob, however, has to do some errands first. After picking out paper towels, picking up his pants at the dry cleaners, and tesating perfume, they finally make it to his house. But SpongeBob has misplaced his key, so the Strangler suggests they go through the window. He tells SpongeBob to hop on his shoulders, so SpongeBob prepares with some spiky cleats. Unfortunately, he ends up in the Strangler's eye sockets instead.
After six hours of running around in pain for the Strangler, SpongeBob finally hops out and grabs the spare key under the mat. So they're finally in the house. But they're not alone, because SpongeBob's friends threw him a 100% on time party! After the party, the Strangler is more than ready to... well, live up to his name. But before he can do it, there's a knock at the door. Apparently, it's SpongeBob's birthday! So another party ensues.
After the party, Patrick lags behind. But the Strangler forces him to leave, saying that he could be the Strangler. Patrick is horrified, and goes to turn himself in. The real Strangler finally loses his patience and reveals his identity. But SpongeBob still believes that the Strangler is his bodyguard. So the Strangler tries to get away from him, only to end up in jail. SpongeBob is credited with saving the Strangler, and the Strangler is glad that he's "safe from that yellow idiot"... until he realizes he's sharing his cell with Patrick.
In hindsight, I probably should have included this episode on my list. It's hilarious!

Re: The SBC Top 50 episodes list
All right, Top 10. The cream of the crop. (This message brought to you by Captain Obvious.)
10. "I didn't realize it was happy hopping moron day."
Idiot Box - 67 points
(5 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #4, Clappy)
SpongeBob and Patrick recieve a big-screen TV in the mail. But instead of wanting the TV, they want the box instead. Squidward berates them for this, but when they give him the TV, he is overjoyed. But before he can watch it, he hears lifelike avalanches coming from the box. He opens it up to see if they're okay, and they are. Squidward wonders how they made those sounds, and SpongeBob insists that it was all because of their "imaginaaation".
When this persists, Squidward finally tries to take his mind off of it by watching TV. Unfortunately, everything on TV is currently about boxes. He can't concentrate anyway, because SpongeBob and Patrick are now making a rocket launch. Squidward finaslly concludes that they are fooling him with a tape recorder, and decides to climb in to see for himself.
He asks to be taken to Robot Pirate Island, but the only lame sound effects he gets come from SpongeBob and Patrick. He steps out of the box, and the more realistic sound effects come into play. After SpongeBob and Patrick leave their box and go to bed, Squidward rushes into the box to search for something that could have made the sound effects. But he can't find anything. Frustrated, he sarcastically mimes driving a race car, and much to his surprise, he hears race car sound effects! He is overjoyed, as he continues to "drive his race car". Unfortunately, the sound effects are coming from the garbage truck taking the box to the dump.
The next day, SpongeBob and Patrick come outside to find their box missing, but they shrug it off. They go to visit Squidward, hoping he's not too down in the dumps today.

The next day, SpongeBob and Patrick come outside to find their box missing, but they shrug it off. They go to visit Squidward, hoping he's not too down in the dumps today.

Yeah, I don't have anything against The Paper, but I never regarded it as an AWESOME episode. Good, yes.

I was wrong once again. Sailor Mouth/Artist Unknown was not the only episode pairing to appear back-to-back. But they ARE the only ones separated by one point, still.
8. "Can you hurry it up? I'm all out of time cards."
Wet Painters - 72 points
(6 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: 1 #1 vote, The Cartoon)
Mr. Krabs gives SpongeBob and Patrick a special assignment: painting his house. They are both warned to not get the paint on anything but wall, because it never comes off! SpongeBob and Patrick take this advice to heart and try to be very careful with the paint. Unfortunately, after guiding the drop of paint with his breath and a hair dryer, SpongeBob unwittingly creates a giant paint bubble! As he rhetorically asks what could be worse than a giant paint bubble, Patrick answers the question by blowing another giant paint bubble! Then the two bubbles merge, and Patrick inflates it with a bicycle pump until it explodes!
Luckily, it only explodes all over the wall... or so they think. Upon closer inspection, SpongeBob finds a tiny dab of paint on Mr. Krabs' first dollar! They try to get it off with many things (including technology), but nothing works! So they decide to turn the lights off when Mr. Krabs gets home. Mr. Krabs turns them back on, and after severely overreacting about his dollarama, he concludes that there was no harm done.
That is, until he runs into a stack of paintings covering his first dollar. He pulls them off one by one, until he reveals SpongeBob covering the dollar. SpongeBob finally relents, and just when it looks like SpongeBob ad Patrick may never use their butts again, Mr. Krabs gets the dollar off with some saliva. He says that he only said the paint was permanent to mess with them. Upon hearing this, SpongeBob and Patrick leave angrily, and Mr. Krabs laughs so hard that his saliva washes off all the paint on his walls. Mr. Krabs concludes that he really needs to learn to say it, not spray it.
Let me tell you, it was nearing impossible to pick a quotation for this one. There are so many good ones, but they only really work with SpongeBob and Patrick. I finally decided to go with a classic.

KK Training Video! Will always be one of my favorites, brings back many good memories and I love the concept of it all, is very different than any other episode and that's what makes it a classic.

Dying for Pie - 74 points
(4 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: 1 #1 vote, Wumbology)
For Employee Brotherhood Day, SpongeBob gives Squidward a shirt made out of his eyelashes (and then his tears when Squidward rejects it). Squidward doesn't want to make something for SpongeBob, so he buys a pie from some pirates instead, which is really a bomb. Mr. Krabs tastes a bit of it, only to have it blow up in his face. Squidward is horrified that it's a bomb, and even more horrified when he thinks SpongeBob has eaten it! Mr. Krabs woefully proclaims that he has until sunset before the pie reaches his lower intestine. So Squidward decides to make this day the best day ever for SpongeBob.
They go through Spongebob's entire ridiculous list of the best things he can think of, and the last thing on it is to watch the sunset with Squidward. Squidward takes him to the sunset, nervously awaiting the explosion. Before they finish counting down, there is an explosion. Squidward cries, believing SpongeBob to be dead. But then another explosion goes off! It turns out that it was just SpongeBob blowing bomb-shaped bubbles! Squidward, infuriates, demands to know why SpongeBob didn't explode. SpongeBob explains that he saved the pie in his pocket for them to share. The pie, of course, explodes in Squidward's face.
It was a toss-up between the quote I have, the "bomb factory" quote" and "DROWN IN IT!" but I finally decided to go with the one that almost always makes me tear up. There you have it, my favourite episode. 6 to go!

6. "Squidward, I use your clarinet to unclog my toilets!"
Graveyard Shift - 75 points
(6 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #5, The Cartoon)
When Mr. Krabs realizes that people want to pay for food after closing time, he makes the Krusty Krab open 24/7! While Squidward is annoyed, SpongeBob is initially excited, but a bit afraid. To have a little fun, Squidward tells him the story of the Hash-Slinging Slasher, who was once a fry cook that cut off his own hand (except he wasn't a sponge, so it didn't grow back). He then replaced his hand with a rusty spatula. Then, he got hit by a bus! And at his funeral, they fired him! Squidward thne proceeds to tell him that he'll be coming tonight, because it's Tuesday night. They will be able to tell with three signs: the lights flickering on and off, the phone ringing and nobody on the other end, then the Hash-Slinging Slasher appears exiting the ghost of the bus that killed him! Then he crosses the street without looking both ways... because he's already dead. And after he slowly approaches the counter... HE GETS YOU!
That story caused SpongeBob to scream, one after another. Squidward finally tells SpongeBob that it was a joke, which then causes him to laugh continuously.
Some time later, it's 3 in the morning. While it's Patrick's peak time to eat a Krabby patty in the comfort of his own home, no one is at the Krusty Krab but SpongeBob and Squidward. Just then, the lights start flickering on and off. At first, Squidward thinks it's SpongeBob, but he's not doing it. He then blames it on the faulty wiring. Just then, the phone rings, and there's nobody there! SpongeBob still thinks it's a joke, but Squidward is starting to feel afraid. Then, anxiously awaiting the third thing, he sees the Hash-Slinging Slasher get off of the bus, and screams! When SpongeBob realizes it, he screams too! But the Hash-Slinging Slasher turns out to be nothing but someone applying for a job. He explains that he called earlier, but got nervous, so he hung up. But who was flickering the lights? Nosferatu, of course!

Krusty Towers - 92 points
(5 of 8 lists. Highest Ranking: #3, Clappy)
SpongeBob and Squidward are walking to the Krusty Krab when they realize it's not the Krusty Krab anymore: It's Krusty Towers, where they will never deny a guest, even the most ridiculous request! Mr. Krabs got the idea after staying at a luxurious but expensive hotel. Their first customer is Patrick, who has bags that need to be taken up to his room. Squidward takes his heavy bags up the employee elevator (which are stairs), which turn out to be full of rocks. Patrick then lives up to the plaque's name, getting Squidward to do the most ridiculous things. Squidward finally draws the line at giving Patrick a bubble bath, and quits.
Soon after, he walks in again, not as a worker, but as a guest. Mr. Krabs initially refuses him a room, but can't resist Squidward's cash. So he gives him a room, and now it's Squidward's turn to take advantage of the plaque. He orders Mr. Krabs to carry him up the employee elevator and then to eat a disgusting patty. Then he gets them to make him cookies like mom used to make. With the help of Squidward's mom, they do it. The next thing on his list is to change his room's decor. After a few changes, they go back to the original, which he is pleased with. He then asks for an indoor pool, but when Patrick cannonballs, it turns Krusty Towers back into the Krusty Krab, and turns everybody into the hospital, where Mr. Krabs discovers the real money-makers.
