I think its an ok season.

Meh, this is my least favorite season, but it did have a few good episodes.

I don't really hate any season, so this season was so-so. I liked a lot of episodes (I'm an oddball, I love the seasons after the movie ) but.... still, maybe the worst season, even though I like it.

THE MOST UNDERRATED SEASON EVER!

It had tons of great episodes, Fear of a Krabby Patty, Dunces and Dragons, Krusty Towers, Wishing You Well just to name a few. It went downhill in the second half but was still at least enjoyable. The show went downhill in this season, but not by too much.

Underrated season, in my opinion. It's better than Season 5, and contains some of my favourite episodes of all time, which are Krusty Towers and Wishing You Well.

Yeah i agree, an underrated season. Some of my favorites from it were Krusty Towers, Once bitten, and some more.

This was a fairly good season with some shining episodes, and some weak ones. wishing you well= My favorite episode of the season. A masterpiece. well, maybe not a masterpiece but you get my point.

The majority of season 4 was pretty much below average. But as with all seasons, there were a couple of wonderful episodes that reminded us exactly why we loved SpongeBob and stick around for the shitty episodes.

This Season is...ok.

MAD SNAIL DEASESE

I thought this was a pretty good season. I loved Fear of a Krabby Patty, The Lost Mattress, Good Neighbors(kinda), Have you Seen this Snail?, and more.

I enjoyed it. Dunces and Dragons was my favorite from that season.

LOVE IT. NEVER DISLIKED IT.

It was not that bad season
I liked it

But it had some stupid eps
I hated: ''Fear Of A Krabby Patty,Funny Pants,The Gift Of Gum,Best Day Ever,All That Glitters,Karate Island''

But other eps were pretty enjoyable to watch.

Once Bitten was by far one of my favorite episode in the series.

That has to be one of the most under played episodes ever I've only seen it once

Very under-rated, but yet I'm not a huge fan of this Season.

I like this season. However, I think it's overall the weakest season. It got off to a rocky start. Still, I feel that it ended with a bang.

Season 4: C

Alright season in my opinion. We needed less episodes like Good Neighbors, The Gift of Gum, All That Glitters, and Best Day Ever, and more episodes like Krusty Towers and Wishing You Well. 6.5/10.

Has 2 of my favourite episodes: Krusty Towers & Wishing You Well.

And then it has 2 of my least favourite episodes: Ghost Host & All That Glitters.

So a VERY hit and miss season in my opinion.

Also, I personally think Karate Island is underrated. Even if it did (undeservingly) get #1 during the Best Day Ever Marathon.

I find the first 3 or so minutes of Karate Island to be great, they rest is not that bad and I enjoyed the ending

I think Season 7 has been a glorious comeback. Season 4, on the other hand, got off to a very rocky start. I know most like it more then seasons 5 and 6, but I think it's the worst season.

I agree with that. The good episodes were smack in the middle of the season; it was like the writers were doing bad, bad, bad, good, excellent, and then bad, bad, bad again. =-/

I disagree the forth season started great, good-OK in the middle and bad near the end (with a few exceptions)

But Season 4 was pretty terrible...but Season 7 was the worst out of all SB seasons which is why I find it odd that Season 7 is there on the "Best Season Ever," thread.

I think Season 7 has been a glorious comeback. Season 4, on the other hand, got off to a very rocky start. I know most like it more then seasons 5 and 6, but I think it's the worst season.

Season 4 had some pretty good episodes such as "Krusty Towers," and "The Lost Mattress." But you're right; there is no denying that there were few exceptions to marking the season's quality "terrible."

But you're right. How come Season 4 managed to have amazing episodes, when the majority of the episodes were crap? Did the writers just wake up on the wrong side of the bed when they made the bad episodes?

I mean, seriously...I would gladly swap some of the weaker Season 2/3 episodes for the amazing Season 4 episodes. I'd rather there was a season with 40-ish amazing episodes than 10 good ones and the rest being crap.

I agree with that. The good episodes were smack in the middle of the season; it was like the writers were doing bad, bad, bad, good, excellent, and then bad, bad, bad again. =-/
