Awesome season! It didn't have one bad episode, and included some favorites of mine like Band Geeks and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III. It's neck and neck with Season 3 as my favorite season.

2nd best season behind Season 3 lots of my top 10 favourite episodes (Band geeks, Shanghaid, Survival of the idiots etc.)

A season that is tough to beat. This and Season 3 dominate SpongeBob.

Stellar season. The only episode I hated from it is Procrastination, mainly due to it being just plain creepy.

Definately a great season!

My favorite season of Spongebob.

This is probably the best season ever! It was still improving itself after season 1, but I just loved the original humor/adult-themed dialogue they used in this season!

Blah. This season is filled with overrated episodes. There are many that do shine, but there are some I'm not fond of. My feelings on the second season are mixed.

Well, the last sentence seems to explain it all because earlier in this thread you were praising it without criticism.

I thought this was a good season.

Great Season. Not one bad episode I can think of. Some highlights include: Band Geeks, Shangheighed, Life of crime, and The secret box.

Season 2 was epic. I think I have it on DVD...

I have the first 5 seasons on DVD (all the ones released in the UK) and this is by far my favourite, although I love the first season too.

This season has just so many golden episodes, and classic quotes I often forget till I go back and watch them.

My fave episode from this season is probably MM&BB3

Great season, close to beating three as my favorite

Perfect season, there wasn't a single episode I didn't like from this season! This season also has the most adult humor with episodes like Gary Takes a Bath", the beginning of "Your Shoes Untied", and "Sailor Mouth", tied with season 3 as my favorite! 10/10

Basically the start of SpongeBob's golden years. Season 2 has some of the best episodes in the whole show. It doesn't have QUITE the consistency of season 3, but the great episodes in it are REALLY great.

Season 2: A/A+

A big jump from season one in quality in my opinion. The only episodes from this season that I don't like that much are Squid On Strike and I'm Your Biggest Fanatic. Everything else is great. 9/10

The only thing that's holding me back from saying season 2 is as good, if not better, then season 3 is the fact that the first few episodes aren't on the same level as the rest of the season. It seemed like an awkward faze for the series.

I used to think this too, but now I find Your Shoe's Untied hilarious and Squid's Day Off passable (though Squidward looked kind of creepy).
