We've hit 500 members!SBC News
What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

I hope you enjoy your trip back to Hawaii, whenever that may be. Otherwise, glad you have been having an awesome week.

Good luck to ya, man. I am glad you've enjoyed your time in CA but one must always go back... I do wish I could go back home..the States have me a little disappointed these days, but I'll hang in there...
Re: Old Man Jenkin's Jalopy
Well, the dog I've been helping to watch over finally left with his owner today after a good almost-month of having the dog over here. I never expected to bond so much with em during that time, I actually felt like crying when he left. I just hope that if I ever see em again that he doesn't forget about me. As much as a pain in the ass he could be at times, he was an all-around good dog. Really prepared me for when I get a dog of my own in the near future. That dog really made my stay here a lot more bearable and worthwhile. Excuse me while I go grab a tissue.

I'm sure a made a brief mention of him in a previous entry, I think.
He was a good dog, he gives Pitbulls a good name.

Well OMJ, dogs are awesome. Sucks that you won't be able to see him anymore, but having a dog of your own is always another option. He could keep you company when you are stationed.

That's too bad about your dog, but personally I don't like dogs. At all.

He wasn't my dog, I was just helping to watch him with my sister and in-law for a friend. I'm definitely planning on getting a dog of my own when I get back.

When I was 5, my uncle's pit bull (is that the correct name?) chased me into my house. Although his bird did that also..

That's your uncle's dog, not all dogs. I don't hate humans because Casey Anthony killed her daughter.teenj12 wrote:I know that.Clappy wrote:He's not going to actually ban you teenj.teenj12 wrote:that70sguy92 wrote:This makes me want to grab my banhammer.teenj12 wrote:That's too bad about your dog, but personally I don't like dogs. Re: Old Man Jenkin's Jalopy
Since hearts have been spilling lately, I have some things to get off my chest.
I was kicked out of Basic Training about halfway through for reasons I don't want to disclose here. Let's just say I hate my past self even more now.
I also recently went to the doctor here for a cold I was beginning to catch, and as the doc was checking my heart beat, he said he could feel a sorta lump in the middle of my chest. Honestly, I knew about the damn thing since I was in like Freshman year and I was too young and foolish to comprehend what it very well could be and thought that it would go away after a while. I soon forgot about as the years gone by, but after what the doc told me, and I went to feel it for myself, it gotten a little more wider and harder since I last remembered. He told me to have it checked out by some professional, but the fear was to great. This really explains why Ive been having some mild chest pains lately, especially when I work out and run. I lose breath quickly and feel as if I'm about to pass out from the throbbing pain.
I know I have to go check this thing out sooner rather than later, but I feel optimistic that it might be benign seeing as how it probably would had killed me already if it were cancerous, especially after all these years of keeping it tight-lipped. I just don't wanna worry my family because they already have enough shit on their plate and I don't want to be a burden anymore.
These have all been factors as to why I've been so bummed out for like the past month or so. It just keeps piling up more and more on me. I just feel like I'm a lost cause already. I try to do good for once in my life and it's been snatched away from me before I had the chance to really take off with it. That combine with recent happenings, I just feel fucking miserable. Maybe I'm better off dying some slow painful death by myself somewhere.
Regardless of all the bullshit, I'll still find something for me to do once I'm way back home and hopefully get into a trade school somewhere and become a welder or something since I always excelled at electric/metal shop. Invest some of my money I've saved up wisely and hope to win at the stock market. One can hope.
I'm trying to be optimistic, but I don't know how much longer I can throw on some fake ass smile and pretend all is fine and dandy. I'm hating the way I sound right now. I best stop myself for the time being.

Re: Old Man Jenkin's Jalopy
Well, I'm back on the day where we're supposedly moving to vBulletin apparently. I'm back home on a desktop computer and reunited with my PS3. Can't say I'm particularly happy ending up back to where I started earlier in the year, but hopefully things start going smoothly soon. I may just get a check-up at the doctor's just to get shit over with and hopefully get the ball rolling again.
