We've hit 500 members!SBC News
What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Really? I also heard they had to pitch the idea of Phineas and Ferb for 16 years before it got picked up.

What episodes did he help write? I think the best writer that worked on Spongebob was C. H. Greenblatt, he wrote some of the best episodes including my favorite episode "Spongebob Meets the Strangler". I wish he still worked on the show.

C.H was working on Chowder that time. Right now, he's working for a new Disney series, which I find pretty sad. Anyways, there were most Season 2-3 eps Dan helped write.

I know Stephen Hillenburg's departure affected Spongebob but I think it actually went downhill when C.H left, the show still has some pretty good episodes though.

Joe Murray hired Dan to work on Rocko's Modern Life because of his "Life of a Fish" comic strips which proved he could write and draw.

Dan wrote episodes near the end of season 2 (eg. The Graveyard Shift, Sandy, Spongebob and the Worm etc)

I think that's because Disney doesn't do a lot of cartoons anymore.
As for me, I LOVE this show! I'm happy that Disney's making a cartoon instead of another teenybopper 'follow-your-dreams' 'if-you-can't-sing-you're-a-worthless-nobody-and-you-should-bow-down-to-the-people-on-this-program' shows.

The songs were Disney's idea. They fell in love with Gitche Gitche Goo from "Flop Starz" and made te creators cram a song into each episode.
Anyways, I like this one. It's the best thing on Disney channel right now IMO (which is not sayign much).

Sadly, I would have to agree with you. I mean let's put it this way (oh and this is my opinion obviously )
Hannah Montana - Going to be up in smoke soon (really wanted to make a Miley getting high pun )
Wizards - Has gone incredibly downhill since Wizards vs Vampires
Suite Life on Deck - Really wanted to like this one, but let's face it, this spin-off is unnecessary
Sonny With A Chance - Nope, I liked it better when it was called 30 Rock
JONAS - Good think they don't have the damn laughtrack, that's the only positive thing I have to say
Good Luck Charlie - I know its a joke about growing up, but that doesn't mean the jokes have to be so juvenile
Fish Hooks - Can't really say anything because I have never watched it, but to me it just seems like a way to give Kyle Massey another chance at having a show
Shake It Up - Looks horrible, this is probably the crappiest concept I have seen in a while

Ok, I've got a lot of catching up to do on here, but first...
New Episode aired in Latin America, which airs on February 11th in the Us
Rollerocaster The musical is airing this Saturday, and it's already on youtube
There's gonna be an actual theatrical movie, with a mix of live action and Animation.

Re: Phineas and Ferb
Back on the subject of Phineas & Ferb here...I just can't find any interest whatsoever towards this show. To me, it gets pretty annoying and ridiculous at times. The only thing I find remotely somewhat entertaining are the skits with the platypus and the platypus isn't even the star of the show. Don't know why quite a lot of people like it, to be completely honest.

Re: Phineas and Ferb
You know what pisses me off?
Some people on the P&F wiki are saying shit about Spongebob, and how it should be taken off the air.
(SOME people are smart, and trying to shut people up, but no one will listen)
Someone needs to teach those guys a lesson, and what not.

There's also news of a live action "Phineas and Ferb" movie set to play in cinemas sometime in 2014!
