July - August, 2009: 7 Teenagers went missing, family members reported them missing to the police. Suspicion was on the rise however the police didn't believe that all these disappearances were linked.

Summer 2009 - Winter 2011: The case was still on, however with no solid leads on the disappearances of the 7 teens the case went cold.

March 3rd, 2011: The Richmond RCMP received a phone call by a man who claims to have spotted a pile of corpses in the West Wood Lake area. A location which is just off the coast of Richmond, a city that is 15 minutes away from Vancouver.

West Wood: It's a biological area which is why the location is isolated majority of the time except in Spring and Summer when family members go out for camping.

Forensic Experts arrive on scene, they photograph the crime scene in search of any clues. However no solid clue was found and it was unknown for how long these bodies were out here near the lake. Forensic Experts carefully analyzed the surrounding and detected dead insects near the bodies. They used the insects in hope to collect DNA which would allow them to determine when these people were killed.

March 5, 2011 - The results came in and it was confirmed that these people died around summer of 2009. The Richmond RCMP contact several Police Departments in nearby cities including the Vancouver Police Departments and the Surrey Police Department. All 7 Police Departments go through each missing persons' report between 2008-2009. They came across the reports of 7 teenagers that were missing since the Summer of 2009, which got the police suspicious.

Names of the 7 Teens: Raymond Oswald (15), Chis Sundar (15), Chelsea Lee (16), Rohan Kutar (13), Matthew Princeton (14), Kyle Vian (16), and Abdul Khan (16).

March 6, 2011 - The news hit the front page of the "Province" newspaper.

End of Part 1.

March 7, 2011 - With no information on who killed the Seven teens, the police decided to use a different approach. Assigning the top ranked officers from each Police department to the case. A special team called "TWEU" was created, also known as "The West Wood Elite Unit". Detective Wilfred Cain was the head of the special task force, who has been working on homicide cases for nearly 20 years. One of BC's most renown detectives who had also worked on the Robert Pickton case.

Wilfred: Homicides have become quite common in B.C. but the main problem was how it had happened in West Wood. West Wood has been around for nearly 100 years, so it was quite a shocking discovery. The first thing we noticed at the crime scene, was how the bodies were carefully hidden. From a far away distance you wouldn't be able to notice, so we knew that whoever did this was familiar with the West Wood area.

March 8, 2011 - TWEU began to narrow down possible suspects who may have had connections with West Wood. However it proved to be quite difficult. Investigators returned to the crime scene to look for more evidence.

Wilfred: The investigation lasted about 2 weeks, we wanted to get as much evidence as we possibly could to find out who had done this and bring him to justice.

March 10, 2011 - 2 days into the investigation, the Police discover a necklace. It was then confirmed that the necklace belonged to Chelsea Lee, one of the victims of the violent murders. The necklace was sent to the investigation lab immediately, while waiting for the results the police continued their investigation.

March 13, 2011 - Police noticed that bushes have been forced apart not far from the crime scene. The examined the ground and noticed and some of the branches were laid down flat on the ground, the Police assumed that perhaps someone had driven a car through the bushes. But did the car belong to the killer?

March 14, 2011 - Police were trying to confirm whether the killer used his car to transport his victims to Lake Wood. However they were unsuccessful, but soon an unexpected clue came from the Forensic Lab where the bodies were kept for investigation. Fibers were found on all seven bodies, all of which were identical.

March 15, 2011 - Results came in from the investigation lab where the necklace was sent. The necklace also too showed signs of fibers similar to the ones on the seven victims. This was clear evidence that perhaps the victims were put into a car and were driven to Lake Wood. But what kind of car was it?

March 17, 2011 - Forensic Examiners were able to identify the type of Fiber, The fibers were "Kantala", the only car models that used Kantala were the Chevrolet Aveo, but only the 2002 models.

Wilfred: We finally had a lead, but there was still lots of work to be done. We know what brand the vehicle was, but now the question was how do we find the right one? When every 2002 models have the same type of fiber. We were still far from solving the case.

End of Part 2.
