Harry Potter (book series)

I just realized we don't have a book series discussion for this yet (There is some rant topic by Deli about Edward vs Harry, but that's completely different).

Harry Potter is my favorite book series. I love them so much. I think its safe to say that I have reread the entire series at least four times, if not more.

Best series ever. I've never read a series where I had that warm feeling, action, realistic human behavior, and fantasy mixed together so perfectly.

My favorite book in the series is "The Order of the Phoenix," with "The Deathly Hallows" a VERY close second!

Yes. Because of her, people dislike vampires, which means they don't want to watch Buffy (even though it's about KILLING) vampires. So she can suck my wand as well.

I do respect your opinion, but in what way is Stephanie Meyer a noob? She has to be a great author if she can have a die hard fanbase. I hate Twilight, but I will give Stephanie Meyer all the credit in the world for making people crazy about the series.

I don't care if the "Twilight" series actually managed to win a Nobel Prize in LITERATURE! No amount of glitter can make a piece of poop NOT look and/or smell like poop, because that is ALL the "Twilight" book series will ever be!

I dislike the series too, but you can not let your bias get in the way that the movies make a lot of money and that the book has a diehard fanbase. I mean the series is clearly not your cup of tea and its not mine either, but just because you don't like the genre doesn't mean the books are shit. I bet if I was into romance novels, I would find Twilight fantastic as well.

I love these books and I would conduct my opinion on Twilight, but of course Twilight bashing gets old after awhile.
