SBC News
What's New? Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons. In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!

^ Thanks, SOF! (And Wumbo..I think xP)

HOT day today! aghh, summer started furiously here >.<
The girls and I went costume shopping for our next video today, we were supposed to go last week..but anyway, I'm very pleased with what we got, can't wait to start this video!..I think I told you but it's gonna be of "I am the Walrus" by the Beatles, yup, a VERY psychedelic one! ;D

Speaking of my vids. We now have our own YT channel just for our vids (this way I can keep my fanvideos in my original channel and the ones I do with my friends in our new one)
Here's that Bohemian Rhapsody vid of ours, in case you'd like to see it with a better quality and if you want to share it *wink wink*
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6FIZiihiJ0&feature=channel_video_title

Now I have to start uploading all the other videos we've made. Yup yup. (do Subscribe if you have a YT account! SOO Happy)

A Jelly in the Life - Page 3 Empty Re: A Jelly in the Life

Post by Jelly 6/2/2011, 12:39 pm

(Some days ago..)
Mom: If a tornado comes, we'll hide in the basement!
Me: Oh please, mom, don't be ridiculous! Tornadoes don't hit Massachusetts! @_@

And..I was proven very wrong.. If you've seen the news lately you probably know that a tornado hit Springfield, MA yesterday, and that's exactly where I live. Thankfully we're ok, there are a couple of fallen trees near here and most people on my street didn't have electricity last night (we were one of the lucky few) and I lost my internet last night too.
A lot of destruction around the city, though, and this is a small town, mind you! My stepdad's business got hit hard (it's like 4 blocks away from here) the roof felt off, and a tree felt on his truck. Also the house of a friend of mine collapsed =/
I think there are 4 deaths reported Sad
It was really scary, I had a bit of a nervous attack yesterday and couldn't sleep right last night, all I could hear in my mind were ambulances and firetruck sirens =/ But I feel much better now, just a bit in awe...
Here are some videos and an article of the disaster. I'll try to post the pics I took myself..

Tornados come and go where ever they please. I use to think that I would never see a tornado. But yeah a tornado hit my area of VA hard last month and made me eat my own words.

It's quite a nerve racking experience, but hey at least you survived. Smile

Thanks, guys.
Today I got the chance to get out and actually look around and see the devastation..and I'm just in shock! I can't believe so much destruction happened so fast and so close to my house, God!

Here are some pics I took:
When the 2nd tornado hit (yeah, there were 2!) the sky turned yellow D;

Yah, that's the thing, I am from the Dominican Republic and we don't get tornadoes over there, the only big natural disaster I've lived through before was Hurricane George in 1998, I was like 8 =/

lol, technically I've been through all those too, no big earthquakes, tho, thank God.
But anyway, the thing about hurricanes vs tornadoes is that tornadoes are unpredictable which is even scarier :S I mean, this took us totally by surprise, when a hurricane comes at least you know it's coming =/
