Diary Of A Wimpy Kid ( Movie Discussion/Predictions)

Well, it seems they are making a movie based off the book series. Now, here is my personal opinion and don't get mad :

Ok, here is the deal, i have really liked the books, i have. But now... i'm not too sure about the movie. I saw the trailer and imo, the casting is kind of bad. Plus, i think they are just trying to milk out the series even longer by making a movie. But i guess i will give it a chance. If i don't go to the movies, i might just wait for the DVD to come out.

Premieres March 19th ( At least that's what the new commercial said)

Do you think it will be a hit or miss?

It will be a miss, just wont turn out good.

Books = Good
Movies = Good
Movies about books = Horrible

Yes! I hate when they make a movie about the book! It ruins the book! The book is always better than the movie.

I think that this movie will turn-out ok.

This movie was awesome! I want a sequel. Plus they can't milk the series since only one book is sadly left, from what I've heard anyway.

Not just that, but I practically imagine everything. The scene, what the characters look like, etc.

I have no real excitement in seeing this.

The movie was good but not as good as the book

The people they cast for the main middle schoolers is pretty bad because they look like they're enering 4th grade, not middle school. then again, that's just me. I'm not to sure about this movie but whatever, i'll try it out. If it sucks i'll ask for a refund

I liked this movie, and I loved the books. The only problem I have is that they turned Greg into a little bastard. But I loved the movie anyway.

Did not like at all. The books are.... Eh.

Didn't see the movie... didn't care. The books were okay.

Eh, I never saw the movie, but I remember he was sometimes a huge prick in the books. I felt sorry for him at times, and sometimes I was gong "You totally deserved that".

It's really too bad they made the book into a movie. The characters in the movie look nothing like they do in the book. This movie was nothing more than a couple of farts and burps.
