What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

It's Adam Sandler's new movie "Jack and Jill" where he plays both of the title characters.OMJ wrote:Ah, care to give me a name. I can't see it.

Don't movie studios in general just fund shit? It has always been that way.Elastic Dog wrote:Another reason why I don't go see movies any more. They fund shit like this.

Re: Please, Do Not See This Movie
Its quite simple really. AWESOM-O gave the movie studios the idea that any bad movie idea can earn them money by having Adam Sandler in it. So, if we don't give them our money, they can take a hint that no one wants to see him in shitty movies like this.Elastic Dog wrote:They do, but money generated from movies like this help that.Clappy wrote:Don't movie studios in general just fund shit? I don't want to make judgements or make things personal here so if what I'm about to say is inaccurate to what you said then sorry, and it's more about me making a personal point than taking it personally BUT If you feel so strongly about this, how about instead of taking a faux-defiant stand, you try to make sure the movies that do appeal to you (however rare they may be) get some support from you so maybe more of THEM can be funded? Do your part to make sure the quality at least makes enough money to help save the existence of more quality movies.Elastic Dog wrote:Another reason why I don't go see movies any more. It's like what happened with Scott Pilgrim vs The World last year. A bunch of crazy movie/comicbook/whathaveyou geeks who usually complain that the good stuff never makes money get ridiculously boned up for a movie, and then don't pay to see it, thus making the film a flop, the last nail in a coffin of monetary failures for Universal, who now are too afraid to take risks and are pretty much guaranteed to release nothing but crap for the time being.
oops, didn't mean for that to be such a rant. Also I looked this up on IMDB to see what else is out that weekend and fuckin' AL PACINO is in this? fall from grace is putting it lightly...

Re: Please, Do Not See This Movie
Adam Sandler, you are NOT Dustin Hoffman in "Tootsie," you are NOT Robin Williams in "Mrs. Doubtfire," you are NOT even Eddie Murphy in any one of the dozens of pictures where he plays multiple characters making love to each other in the creepiest expression of self-love EVER! It seems like the "Saturday Night Live" movie curse is about to claim another victim.
