PLOT: After Squidward's arch-rival Squilliam Fancyson's band is unable to perform at the prestigious Bubble Bowl, he gives the opportunity to Squidward. So Squidward, ready to prove himself, gets together a band, hoping to make a big impression at the Bubble Bowl, and not to be humiliated by... SpongeBob and Patrick

A pretty good episode, though a little overrated. Discuss it here. :face:

Overrated, but worth it. It's hilarious. "Is mayonnaise an instrument?" "The owner of the white Sedan, you left your lights on!" rofl. overall, 9.5/10, perfect, but overrated for the song and of course being a Season Two episode.

Are you all fucking kidding me? Was this the best the writers could possibly do? Oh my gosh, this OVERRATED (Yes, I said it, assholes) episode is easily one of the worst episodes ever, and I dont give a damn if you fucking nag at me, you pieces of shit, this episode should be destroyed and rot in hell. Hell, this episode is worse than All That Glitters. I hated Sweet Victory, its the worst song Ive ever heard in my life. The episode was so boring and unfunny and I really, really, really hate it. I hate this episode. Fuck Band Geeks. 0/10 F------------------------------------------------------------------. Now Professor Squidward, on the other hand, is a much, much, MUCH better episode.

Simply put, one of the best episodes in the whole series. It has the best ending, and is overall one of the funniest. Smile

I respect that, and agree the episode is really overrated. But I LOVE Sweet Victory.

I think it was the song, "Sweet Victory" that made this episode overrated.

I thought the episode had lots of good humor. The song WAS the best part, but that's not the only reason I like this episode.

Band Geeks is awesome. I definitly think Sweet Victory is the best part of the episode, but I still find it great with the other parts of the episode.

If you're talking about the various "replace Sweet Victory with another song" videos, then that means nothing. It's a big band scene, so of course it's going to be incorporated into these types of videos.

Band Geeks is easily one of my very favorite episodes. And I have Sweet Victory downloaded to meh iPod. But I guess it is a little overrated, but still funny as hell. 9.5/10

Its not an awesome episode, but I think its still a great one. At one point I was tired how everyone liked it only for the song, but like I just said I think its a great episode!

No it doesn't, but some people think the people who do like this episode only like it for "Sweet Victory".

Not that I only like "Band Geeks" for the song, but...
to be frank, it's the only bit I remember about the whole episode.
