What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Discuss it here.
I think its a good show, but it should end soon.

Truly America's favorite family, but unfortunately, less than a handful of episodes are good each season nowadays. I think the end is near for these yellow little guys.

Great show, one of my favourites. Obviously lost its luster lately, though. Still, most episodes have a laugh or two.

Meh, it was okay. Pretty sweet. Like, in a way, I guess it reminded me of some heartfelt episodes from the first 8 seasons(the Golden Years).tvguy347 wrote:That new episode, "Million Dollar Maybe," was pretty good though.

If I were Fox, I would just cancel it. Or end it after Season 21 because it's not getting good ratings at all....

Do you know how many people would riot if Fox were to "just cancel it"? End it properly or don't end it at all.

If so many people will riot, they must be fans. And if there are so many fans, why is it only nabbing around 2 million people every week..hmm?

I'm with terminoob on this one. You can't just end a show like The Simpsons. The ending has to be spectacular.

Re: The Simpsons (Show Discussion)
I do agree, but Fox is wasting the time slot. Why do you keep a show on when it's not getting good ratings? They have to end it well...like really well...ultra spectacular well. But my point is the show isn't getting good ratings and if it wasn't a classic, it probably would've been canceled by now.

Waste a timeslot? Any better ideas of what to put there?
1. Take out The Simpsons and "Animation Domination" will be completely dominated by Seth MacFarlane.
2. Re-runs of Family Guy? Has anyone even laughed at this show since Season 3?
3. Re-runs of The Cleveland Show? Has anyone even laughed at this since Episode 3?
4. Re-runs of American Dad? It's the best show on the line-up, but that's overdoing it.
5. A new live-action show? Has anyone even laughed at one since The War at Home?
Keeping The Simpsons is the best thing Fox can do other than beg and plead to get Futurama back.
Re: The Simpsons (Show Discussion)
They have rights to air South Park, so they could air that at 8.terminoob wrote:tvguy347 wrote:I do agree, but Fox is wasting the time slot. Or they could move Cleveland Show to 8, and just have Animation Domination go to 9:30. I don't have much of a problem with Seth dominating. And, even though I'm not a fan of either, they could bring back Sit Down, Shut up or King of the Hill.

Some people would like more Family Guy or other shows. They have plenty of options by taking the Simpsons out-Futurama, King of the Hill, or South Park. And terminoob, just because you and 70s agree that Family Guy hasn't been as good since Season 3, doesn't mean other people don't enjoy it.

Re: The Simpsons (Show Discussion)
Here's mine
10 ) Dog Of Death - This is a controversial episode because to many people this episode is one of the weaker episodes of season 3. To me anyway this was great, I love how the first half had nothing to do with the dog and I also liked the ending so funny.
9 ) Lisa the Vegetarian - This episode is hilarious all the way through, I really feel for Lisa (I'm a Vegetarian) It also has a great guest voice PAUL MCCARTNEY!!
8 ) The Springfield Files - Despite never watching "The X Files" this episode is still a top 10 (If I had watched the show then It would have probably be a top 3)
7 ) Flaming Moe's - The first classic this episode is amazing Moe is a great, complex character who always has great stories/ episodes about him (Don't forget the great song and AEROSMITH)
6 ) Homer Alone - All three stories are great and Marge having a breakdown is one of the greatest Simpsons moments
5 ) Lisa's Sax - I love flashback episodes and this one is one of the best. I love seeing how Lisa got her sax and why Bart is such a menace
4 ) 22 Short Films About Springfield - 22 hilarious stories in one amazing season 7 episode
3 ) Trilogy Of Error - As well as supplying a hilarious episode that is very, very clever
2 ) Cape Feare - Sideshow Bob is one of my favourite character's and this episode is a hilarious spoof of "Cape Fear" A classic
1 ) Eternal Moonshine Of The Simpson Mind - Best Episode Ever, Despite beginning a season 19/ Post classic episode it is hilarious, Heart-warming, Clever and there's a lot of character development

Far from it, it has to do with that Comic Book guy getting one of his comic books that he made turned into a movie with Homer being the star but he's too fat. It was an okay episode but nothing special.
