What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

that70sguy92: Dear Prudence
Figured I should finally start one of these to annoy you with how fantastic my life is. I'm gonna post titles, just 'cause I'm used to posting 'blogs' this way.
My Life in a Few Paragraphs
So, what am I doing right now...? Listening to music, typing Bikini Top, though not really focused on it, so it's not likely it will be up tonight. My attention is more on Scrubs, and simply posting here on the Community. So yeah, that's that. I'm not losing interest in Bikini Top or any other of my spin-offs, for that matter, I just don't feel like doing stuff like that (thinking creatively) right now. Plus, this episode will be Anna's trial, something I've been fearing, because I'm not sure how I'll do writing it. And then there's the aftermath of Jake and Jackie getting engaged. And Naomi being pregnant. The show's second pregnancy won't be easy to write. So I'm having several very different cases of writer's block right now. But I will get out of it, I'm sure.
Well I've been feeling like shit for about a week now. Been taking Delsym and Zyrtec (sp?) for a while. It's helping somewhat, I still feel bad. I have a horrible cough, a runny nose, and the occasional large bout of... vomiting and other bodily functions. Oh yeah, a headache too. But enough of me whining about how miserable I am in this, Virginia's worst allergy season in... ever? Right after the worst winter EVER. Fuck you, Virginia. Fuck you. My daughter Marti also has a cough, not as bad as mine, but still pretty bad. There's not a TON we can do for it since she's only a few months old. If it gets worse we'll have to take her to the doctor, though.
There is one good thing in my life though, if this qualifies. Just got a couple of new DVDs for my collection. Yes, I collect them, do you have a problem with that? They were... Scrubs and Friends, seasons 4 and 7, respectively. Images!!
I enjoyed watching them a lot, as did Sara. She prefers Friends, but I really can't decide. They both crack me up, and are able to be touching, too, which is what I look for in a comedy. So yeah, both great shows! Only 3 seasons left of Friends. I'm a TV junkie, as everyone probably knows by now.
Don't know what else to say. I'm out.

Re: that70sguy92: Dear Prudence
Ouch!
Broke my ankle. It's a long story, but I did. Hurts very very muchly. That's why I've seldom been on the past few days. My ankle hurts. And it's hard to be on the computer and type with your ankle elevated. Try it. It's strange.
That's it for now.
EDIT: Oh wait!!
Watched Glee last night. Fucking fantastic. Have all the songs from the episode on my iPod now. Vogue, 4 Minutes, and Like a Prayer were my favorites. Jonathan Groff needs to become a regular right now, becuase he's stealing every scene he's in. The Like a Virgin scene was great. We need to hear more of Santana's voice. Brittany, as always was hilarious. Her misogynist line cracked me up (as well as the preview for next week: "I think my cat's reading my diary"). I am so glad Glee is back. I missed it so much since December. And next week April is back. Then in May we get the Joss Whedon episode where Neil Patrick Harris is in it! Gahh, I love Glee.
Even if you don't watch Glee, this is hilarious-
"Will Schuester, I hate you."
How could you not laugh at that?
Glee needs to stay on TV for a long time. One of the best shows currently airing.
'Kay, that's all.

Re: that70sguy92: Dear Prudence
I give up on the blog format.
My foot is feeling a little better, but still hurts.
I recently got my job at Target back.
I had the Hitting Rock Bottom episode, "The One With the Sponge," finished, but my computer crashed ._. . For some reason, the file was not recovered. So expect the episode MAYBE sometime this week, but most likely next weekend.
I'm probably going to order the last 3 seasons of Friends on Amazon today.
Nick is starting to walk pretty well!

Blah. Just... blah. Not a huge fan of life currently.
But I did just finish all of Friends. Wonderful ending to a wonderful show. I'll miss it a lot.
Sorry for not being active. I won't be any more active for a while.

I wrote:I understand. I actually lost three good friends this month to drunk driving. They were all in the same car. Not exactly the same, but the loss of a classmate in general is difficult to cope with.
Yeah. Fuck life.
Their names were Tim, Conner, and Drake.
They went to a party, all three got drunk, and Conner hit a tree while he was driving. None were wearing seatbelts.
Their funeral was yesterday.
Hope that explains my lack of activity and my less-than-cheerful mood. All of you are my friends too, so do me a big favor and NEVER drink and drive. I can't handle it again.

I'm really sorry to learn that If I was in your position, well...let's just say it would quit formidable for me to carry on with my ADL (Activities of Daily Living) Looks like you deserve a hug of sympathy Don't worry; from what I've witnessed, I'll never operate a vehicle while intoxicated. Neglecting to conduct safety standards while driving is like:that70sguy92 wrote:I wrote:I understand. I actually lost three good friends this month to drunk driving. They were all in the same car. Starting to feel okay.
The show Supernatural has somehow helped me cope with everything. It's very fun to watch.
Nick and Marti have been a joy. Nick is a pro at walking now, I'm proud to say. My ankle is still recovering, so he can outrun me.

I lost my contacts, so now I have to wear my glasses. Lovely. Nick taking them off my face when he sees them - while it is cute - is also not a plus to this situation.

Re: that70sguy92: Dear Prudence
Recently bought seasons 1 and 2 of Supernatural. Very good. Only 3 episodes left in Season 2.
Found my contacts. My glasses are in their case. Hopefully they will stay for a LONG time.

I can't use Safari if I don't have a Mac? Your reasoning makes no sense to me.tvguy347 wrote:that70sguy92 wrote:Just got Firefox. I prefer Safari.

I just got $1,000 at school and cried in front of all my classmates. I'm not embarrassed. Best day ever.
