What do you want to be when you grow up?

So what job do you want to have?
(sorry... If anyone has their perfect job... then what is it?)

For me I really have no idea...
A big chunk of me wants to be a Doctor because I love biology <3
And then another part of me wants to be a Marine Biologist... prob become a doctor in that...

and then a good half wants to be a cartoonist.
and I guess a fashion designer would be nice...

Even though I am grown up, I'd really love to break into the entertainment business. I'm already in a musical, but I'd love to be an actor, a singer, a writer, a director... being any of those would be a dream come true.

Although I'm grown up as well, I always wanted to be a pro football player. I played quite a bit in high school and was briefly signed to semi-pro league at one point, but the cut me off before I had a chance to really play. That dream is so out of reach now.

A porn star.
A serial killer.
A filmmaker or musician, probably. Maybe an artist.

A writer or an animator. I'd definitely like to work on an animated tv show, as a writer and possibly an animator as well. I'd be able to be a writer of any type though, not just scripts.

Hey, Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist who went on to create one of the most successful shows in animated history. You don't have to give up all hope.

As for me, basically the same as tvguy, though I'd love to write for a live action series as well.

Pretty obscure, but i've wanted to draw manga professionally for a while. Seems like it can be fun.

Hey, Stephen Hillenburg was a marine biologist who went on to create one of the most successful shows in animated history. You don't have to give up all hope.

I really don't know. I have some ideas in mind though. I'll just list them. Maybe an electronic or software engineer, a video game creator, a cartoonist, an actor, a voice actor, a radio or tv broadcaster, or a person who works in advertising and makes commercials. Those are some ideas of what I think I might be interested in. I really have no idea what I am going to do yet though.

I was thinking of trying puppetry, as it interests me. I don't think I could do full-body puppets, though. You have to be in excellent shape to do those (the guy who does Big Bird is freaking 70). I was thinking arm puppets or rod puppets might be fun. Maybe I could do a hand for a two-handed puppet. I was also thinking of becoming a cartoonist, if my art skills improve. But lately, I've been losing faith in that dream because everything I've been drawing has been failing so hard. (Don't even try to tell me it's good, you should see some of it... *shivers*) A career in voice-acting would be good. It's like being a puppeteer, but your puppet is invisible.

Well, I am almost ready to graduate college. I am going to be working an internship in Washington DC as a public relations specialist for a company that preserves fish in lake water. It may sound something utterly ridiculous to some of you, but its going to be nice pay and I am looking forward to it.

Before all that though, I wanted to be a director. I even entered a couple short film contests back in the day.

Well, not all of it is SpongeBob art, but whatever.

I'm aiming to go to college and study anything in the fields of information technology or computer science. I can see good pay in being a computer consultant or helping out with programming.

Another job I've kind of been fascinated in is court reporting. I know it's sort of a female job, but I heard they make really good money and I may want to try it if computer science doesn't work out for me.

My absolute dream job (as in probably never gonna happen) would be to be the creator and writer of my own TV show, preferably an animated one, even though I suck as an artist.
