SpongeBob's Surf and Skate Roadtrip

The press release makes no mention of PlayStation Move so we’re guessing the first game will skip out on a PlayStation 3 release. Still, it’s hard to wonder about what a SpongeBob game for Kinect will play like. Hopefully it’ll be as good as PS2’s Battle for Bikini Bottom and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, which I actually enjoyed, believe it or not.

While the SpongeBob games haven’t been quite as well received, especially by gaming critics, 29 million sales is nothing to be ashamed of. No further details have been given regarding his upcoming 3DS adoption, but you can bet it will sell like hotcakes.

On a more intriguing note, with THQ having full rights to Nickelodean’s series, both past and present, could we possibly see a 3DS adaption of the gross-out classic, Ren & Stimpy? Don’t bet your nose goblins on it just yet, but it’s certainly a possibility.

So, this will be the first SB Game to come to the 3DS (When both are released).

Spongebob games have always been crap to me......maybe they can turn the franchise around and make some good, quality games next year. Who knows?

Lights, Camera, Pants of PS2 was awesome in my opinion.

The worst was probably Revenge of the Flying Dutchman. That fucking loading glitch made me want to kill myself.

I might get it, even though I'm really annoyed it's not gonna be on the PS3. I'll probably buy it for Wii or 3DS, depending on what looks better.

Maybe it's the upcoming: "Spongebob & The Nicktoons: Gravity Jet Racing".

I know, it isn't a SpongeBob game, but it's sth. There was a video on Youtube, but Viacom pulled it down, which kinda confirms it's existance.

I hope the game is good. The only ones I really enjoyed was Battle for Bikini Bottom, The SpongeBob Movie, and Truth or Square.

I was really bummed out when I saw the new Comedy Central logo. The old one was such a class with all the buildings in the background.

I actually haven't been looking too much into this new game due to lack of info, but I did some researching and a site does list it as a cancelled game. So, it seems like that wasn't it. But we've known about this new game since October and we still have no info. I guess it must still be in early production stages.

And no children, it isn't SpongeBob SquigglePants either.
