Youtube Spam, or not?

Hey guys, just now, I got a message on Youtube about my new 'Video'. I find it werid, cos I really DID just post a new video: Here's wut the letter says, I'm suspecting it's Spam Bot.

I just finished watch some of your videos on YouTube and have to say I was highly impressed.

I don't understand why you aren't getting more views though.
Seriously, you have some of the best videos on the site.

They were completely enjoyable to watch (much more so than many videos on the site).

It is so odd that people would rather watch the same old boring crap, when there is new and original stuff like yours out there.

Anyway, I've used up enough of your time. I just wanted to let you know that I used to have the same problem with low views, until I found

Basically the service sends a ton of views to your videos so that you can get ranked in the YouTube search engine.

They really helped me, maybe they can do the same for you. They even have a free trial going on right now!

I guess it's werid, but I have NOT clicked the link, and I will NOT. One of my friends on a previous forum had a letter like this, and it gave HIS PC a virus to. Please do not use the link, I just want to know if it is Spam or not.

Gawd, I hate when I get messages like that. It gets fucking irritating. Same can be said to all these damn friend requests I get from random people who want me to watch their damn videos.

lol, yes, I got that exact one, but through email... and I'm with OMJ, I hate it when people PM me just so to make me see their dumb videos, what gives? :s

Spam, spam, absolutely spam. Don't reply to their ish, just ignore it. That's what I do when I get that stuff.

This. Pretty much everyone has gotten a message like that in their inbox. Just don't fall for them, because some of them may trick you into giving out personal information or your YouTube password. As an extra precaution, always check the url box when you're entering information to make sure you're still on the right site.

So far it feels like I'm the only one here that has had several youtube accounts and never got that message under any of them. Guess I lucked out on that. Or maybe for some reason that spammer doesn't want to ever send that message to me. My youtube accounts are all deleted now though, and right now I'm thinking of creating a new one soon.
