What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Do you know of any good phones?
I'm getting one this Friday and I have no clue what I want. I don't want a touch screen because I haaaaaaaate a smudged up screen, and I want something with a keyboard. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Re: Do you know of any good phones?
Well I have an iPhone 3GS, already had to get it replaced once (see sharing time thread). That's not what you are looking for I assume lol.
Um, I don't know the names of phones, but I would go with one of them slider phones where you have the screen then you slide it and the keyboard pulls out. Sorry if I'm being vague. xD

I have an iPhone. And it's great and doesn't get smudged up as long as you invest in a protective screen.

Since all of the above people are neglecting your needs...
I'd suggest the Droid 2(really nice touchscreeen with a keyboard, just invest in a cloth or protective screen like 70s suggested). I can't really help you further from there, as I don't know what cellphone carrier you have. HOWEVER... the Droid 3 is expected to release tomorrow or maybe later this week, so I'd wait for that.

Neglecting? I don't think we really did anything inferior to you.tvguy347 wrote:Since all of the above people are neglecting your needs...

She said she wanted a keyboard and all you guys listed were touchscreen phones without keyboards, which she said you didn't want.

iPhones have a pretty great on-screen keyboard though.tvguy347 wrote:that70sguy92 wrote:Neglecting? I don't think we really did anything inferior to you.tvguy347 wrote:Since all of the above people are neglecting your needs...

lol I know I have one. But I think she was referring to a physical slide-out keyboard. xP

Re: Do you know of any good phones?
Hm, maybe I should rethink and get a touch screen... they DO sell these really awesome Muppet cases at Wal-Mart... I dunno. I guess I'll figure it out on Friday.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. We have Verizon.

Oh, then I can totally help you out!
Droid 3: It's a slimmed down phone with a really great app environment. It will have updated specs and it's extremely capable of any tasks you might want to do. It's $199 for a two-year contract and $459 for no commitments. It's a super leaked product, although a release date hasn't been announced.

iPhone 4: An AMAZING phone. Featuring high quality cameras, a retina display, and an all-new design, the iPhone is packed with features and is much more stable than Android (the OS for Droids and other phones). I really love it, and it's extremely easy to use. It has an easy learning curve and you can get used to it in about five minutes. It costs $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for the 32GB for a two year contract. It's $649 for full retail and no contract for 16GB, and $749 for 32GB.

Those are two of the main phones, but there's also the Droid X 2 and Droid Incredible 2.
