NFL Lockout Situation (Lockout extended to at least June 3, 2011) Lockout is OVER

The Owners of the league have been granted a "Stay" so the lockout will continue at least until June 3 of this year.

Not looking good.

I am so annoyed over this! Plus the NBA might be possibly going into a lockout too. Fuck professional sports, that's why college sports are better because the players don't have as massive an ego at their age.

I feel no sympathy towards any of these superstar athletes because they are making way too much fucking money to begin with and now they want more? Meanwhile, there are hard working players out there that don't play for maximum paychecks. Those are the players I feel a slight bit of sympathy for.

I hope the owners win this lockout because they are the ones who are correct for the most part on the issues at hand.

The biggest losers are us because we are fans of the sport, but we just have to sit around and listen to how miserable everyone is when they still make way more money than the average American household combine. Boo hoo, cry me a fucking river National Football League.

Sorry, but this situation just rubs me in all the wrong ways.

I just hope these issues get solved before the regular season, if the preseason gets canceled, i'm ok with that.

(Not to double post) But there is a good possibility that in June the lockout is going to get extended to October...

This. I don't feel sorry for any of these guys who feel like they aren't making enough money.

This whole thing annoys me. But I'd be stunned if nothing got worked out. There's just too much money that the league will lose because of this lockout. They'll crack before the season starts imo.

My theory is, if you really care that you're not being paid enough for your job, and you're not on welfare or food stamps or anything, then you're not passionate about your job. If these people really like to play football, it wouldn't matter to them what they get paid.

Bumped because the lockout is over now. Thoughts, except for me being ready for some football.
