Oral Report

* And Season 8 finally begins! I wonder how these episodes will turn out..

* The title card was neat, especially with the drawings of other characters.

* The costumers are starving...and nobody is cooking them food.

* Well, that explains why SpongeBob got nervous, since he had gave speeches before, but nobody told him it would be scary.

* Patrick redesigned his house well.

* Why is Patrick ignoring SpongeBob's speech? Wouldn't he listen to it to help out his friend?

* I liked Patrick's imitation of Mrs. Puff.

* I can relate to SpongeBob...I've been nervous about giving speeches.

* ..Except that is not how I got over being nervous about my speech...

* Weren't some of these names included in Hall Monitor?

* I'm surprised nobody made fun of his go-SPONGEBOB CAN DRIVE?

* Well...he drove good while it lasted.

* I knew that is how he'd give his speech as soon as they mentioned Boating Safety.

* And Mrs. Puff gets arrested for about the 3rd time. First time in Doing Time and second time in Summer Job.

Grade: B-



A Friendly Game

* Since I love golf, I might enjoy this one.

* The storm reminded me of Pineapple Fever and the fact they went into Squidward's house.

* A new time card.

* Squidward's laser eyes made me chuckle.

* The stuff they used for the course was clever.

* Patrick has fingers?

* Well, the title is misleading since the game wasn't very "Friendly".

* So now the course moved to Squidward's house.

* Is SpongeBob ignoring Patrick or does he just not know what The Hot and Cold thing is?

* Well, this isn't going to end well for Squidward..

* ...of course.

* Well, the Squidward abuse didn't go too far.

Grade: B+

Overall: B+

Oral report: Not bad, it was actually a tad better than I was expecting. Patrick was kind of getting on my nerves, he redesigned his house, eh? hm.
Kinda freaky that Sandy said that's her underwear..does that mean that when she's not in her suit she's just running around in her undies?..yes :S
The whole goggle thing was kinda funny. Zooming up to all the fishes' half-naked crotches was nearly disturbing xP
And Mrs. P gets arrested..again, guess it's a running gag by now (you forgot Ditchin' too, jjs)
Anyway, l'll give it a B-

A Friendly Game:
Yah, that one was ok too, it did remind me of Pineapple Fever at some point. Loved SB and Pat on their golfing costumes :3 Glad they kept it throughout the whole episode.
The rest was getting kinda boring, tbh. Their usual destructive selves, I suppose, with some chuckles now and then..kinda forgot how it ended xP
B- then.

Haven't seen the episodes, but Mrs. Puff definitely got arrested more than 3 times. Hall Monitor? No Free Rides?

I thought both episodes were really good. Though the underwear part in Oral Report kinda disturbed be (especially with Mrs. Puff being shown in her underwear) but the rest went pretty well. Also, Mrs. Puff actually has been arrested 5 times.

Anyways, Oral report: Wow spongebob is getting weirder and weirder the customers who are like zombies and the underwear monsters was very disturbing and patrick was being a jerk in this episode this episode was boring and was like a rush when there were practicing their oral report in patrick's house. 1/10

A friendly game: This episode was going fine at first when spongebob and patrick are practicing golf in spongebob's house but when the golf went to squidward's house they went inside then it started to become boring since there game was interuppted which i didn't want that too happen so it didn't work out for me very well. 5/10

Oral Report:
I kinda enjoyed this one better than "A Friendly Game". There were a few parts I liked including:

- Squidward gets beaten up by hungry customers
- Patrick redesigning his home to a classroom
- Awesome title card with small doodles of the characters on notebook paper
- Like jjsthekid, I also noticed Spongebob driving like a normal driver... until he ran that stop sign
- Spongebob giving his oral report in front of the police officers and getting all emotional

Overall Grade (A-)
Would've gotten an A+ if it wasn't for that underwear thing. *shudders*

A Friendly Game:
I didn't like this one as much because Patrick kept rubbing it in Spongebob's face about getting those Hole in One shots. Poor Spongie...

Like Jelly said, this kinda reminded me of the episode Pineapple Feaver because of the storm and having to stay inside.

Throughout the episode, I always thought "Ooh boy, I wonder what Squidward will say!" when Spongebob and Patrick kept smashing and breaking Squid's furniture in his house. (This is the part I liked best.)

And yes, I did enjoy seeing the two in their golfing outfits as well.

Overall grade (B-)
For the record, I enjoyed both episodes. Nice way to start S8.

Good episode, better than I expected, but I still give it a B.

A Friendly Game 9/10

I liked this episode more, and I thought the plot was good.

Oral Report

This episode was quite good. Nothing really special it just seemed to be there, if you know what I mean. It didn't really mount to anything although it was nice to see another boating episode and Mrs Puff. The story sort of dragged on a bit and the boat chase seemed tacked on but it was fine and did add a little action to the episode. The underwear goggles seemed stupid and not very funny although I did find Squidward and the Krusty Krab scenes to be a highlight of the episode. Overall it's nothing special and just an OK season premier.

Score: 7.0

A Friendly Game

I liked this one more. The plot was quite fresh and it was executed rather well, although like it's partner, some parts did drag on too long. Patrick wasn't funny until he reached Squidward's house and much like the story nothing much happened until they went to Squidward's house. I really enjoyed Spongebob destroying Squidward's house and Patrick's "Hotter, colder" game. I also found the "Play it were it lies" gags when the balls appear on Squidward's forehead and mouth. My favorite gag in the episode was defiantly the "Brief construction montage" and "We hope you enjoyed the brief construction montage". Although not having the best plot points or story lines the humor in both makes me have high hopes for this coming season.

Score: 7.5

Just watched both for the first time. Maybe its because of my golf fandom, but I liked A Friendly Game better than Oral Report. Both were around good to decent.

"Almost, but not quite"

Oral Report: This episode is another classic one. SpongeBob is scared about doing an oral report in Boating School but after he gets into a car crash, he is able to deliver his report.

A Friendly Game: This episode was what made the entire thing crashing down. SpongeBob and Patrick build a minature golf course. The episode just draged but there were funny parts. There were only a few funny parts so they couldn't save this episode

I LOVED Friendly Game. I lol'd at the "Where are our balls?!?" I'm dirty and I just cracked up. xD
