What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

So anyone else get to see Part 2 yet?
They got a few things wrong (for example, Ron and Hermione kiss location and Goyle did not die in the Room of Requirement).
Otherwise, this movie was fantastic and a perfect end to the HP movies. Please Warner Brothers, do not remake this movie series. D:

Goyle didn't die because the actor was arrested for drugs and they did not want him in the film, so I understand. As for the Ron/Hermione thing: they kissed so I'm happy.

- Spoiler:
- Fred's death being off-screen, and the way Voldemort died (bursting into ashes)... oh, and the final battle not being in front of everyone like it was in the book.

Oh really? Hell, while we are at it, they had an entirely different Crabbe in general. Crabbe was not black in the first two movies and he is in this one.that70sguy92 wrote:Goyle didn't die because the actor was arrested for drugs and they did not want him in the film, so I understand.

You mean Goyle? That's the point, that wasn't Goyle. That was another character (very minor), forget his name.Clappy wrote:Oh really? I want to say I'm surprised about how it's been performing so well financially, but I mean... I'm not surprised at all.

Netflix, Redbox, Blockbuster.....they are wonderful. Sounds like you and your BABZ need to have a Harry Potter night.Jelly wrote:Gahhh I need to watch it nao! Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
I finally saw it...and it was awesome! I thought it was pretty faithful to the book, except for a few minor changes to the scenes. The only things I really have to complain about it not killing Crabbe (which I can understand due to circumstances) and Harry breaking the Elder Wand instead of using it to fix his old wand and leaving it with the Dumbledore painting.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it and think it's the best movie to see in IMax and 3-D.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
Just saw it. It was a good movie, although it didn't have a Harry Potter-vibe like the previous movies. I dunno. Maybe because there was less dialogue than previous movies.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
It was an amazing ending to a great series and I wouldn't have it end any other way. Except for, y'know, the whole thing where Harry had the Elder Wand. Other than that, I loved it.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
Best live-action movie I have seen this entire year! No other live-action movie I have seen comes anywhere that is even CLOSE to matching the epic awesomeness of this movie! Minor tweaks to the book aside, this was a very satisfying end to the "Harry Potter" saga (even though I have already read all the books and basically knew what was going to happen.) It's going to be a LONG wait before we get to see the live-action "The Hobbit" movies.

I actually felt that the Prisoner of Azkaban was the weakest film.....but that's because it was the most disappointing in my eyes since the third was my favorite book of the series.that70sguy92 wrote:... Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
I remember I cried too when I saw it, at the part where Harry sees that Remus, Tonks, and Fred had died. And when Harry was watching Snape's memories.
Another thing that I was mad they left out in the movie was in the epilogue where they're taking their children to the train. The part where Draco nods to Harry. I wish they had kept that in.

Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
Maybe the best movie in the series. Great way to close it out. I saw it on opening day, and we had a great audience. Lots of applause throughout. Some really epic, and sad stuff. So disappointed that it's over. :/ Hopefully she'll create another book though. I still have hope.
Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2
As much of a Harry Potter fan that I am, I seriously hope not. This movie and the last book were the perfect ending to the series. J.K. Rowling is done with the Harry Potter universe in terms of writing it. Sure there is still the Wonderful Wizarding World and Pottermore, but J.K. Rowling will hopefully never write another Harry Potter book ever again. She can make another billion dollar franchise just to prove how amazing an author she actually is.The Cartoon wrote:Maybe the best movie in the series. Great way to close it out.
