I don't think that matters. That's been its name since the beginning, and it'll stay that way. There are some things that aren't broken and don't need fixing. Spinnys belong to TV.com.

Just thought I'd say that I'm doing this a bit different:

On April 1st, the winners will be announced LIVE in the Xat chatroom. All nominees will be present, along with audience members. If you cannot attend on April 1st, tell me so in PM.

Winners can then say a speech or a thank you recognition. Once it's over, I'll post the awards here as usual. But it'll be just a fun little event. You can also PM me if you want to post some spoilers or do some sort of performance.

Wait so they are coming in a month? You know what that means, I need to get off my lazy ass in actually post some BBH episodes like I keep promising I am, but something comes up and I end up not doing so xD

Bryan turns to Danny, picking his nose. "Hey look, Danny!" he exclaims. "I'm touching my brain!"

The shady looking guys started to go up to her. Nancy had no where to run as she was backed into a corner in the alley. All of a sudden, a wolf appeared and attacked and killed every single fella. He grabbed each of them and teared into their flesh and tossed them neck first into the buildings as their necks cracked and killed them instantly. After the blood bath, the wolf ran away from the scene as Nancy was confused about what just happened.

No Name and Angler---The Adventures of No Name
The leech almost seeks No Name, but unfortunately, No Name is leeched. Now the leech as the brains of Name and Angler, then the leech seeks a bigger one: Brain. After he was taken care of, the leech was nearly unstoppable. Twelvie and Kathy try and figure out a plan. They hide in a bush of kelp and Kathy lunges over holding on to the leech. Twelvie then runs and grabs the victims and makes the leech re-gain Angler, No Name, and Brain’s status[/i]

I will vote later but I just have a question. I thought the purpose for the Spin-off Hall of Fame was for spin-offs that have ended. Bikini Top has not ended and it is still going strong, so shouldn't another spin-off be nominated instead?

I need to point this out. MermaidMan: The Brave and The Bold and Wumbo are already in my signature, so I would suggest removing them.

I'm not really given all that much material to work with here...

Anchovy Busters, Bikini Top, Down Under, Team Spongebob, Underground Adventures, Patrick's Big Break, Journey of Sebastian, and Coral Drive are the only spin offs that really update regularly. But yeah, I see what you mean. =/

Ok to be honest, I am not voting. Not only because I agree with Ex. I understand your explanation tvman and that is a very fair reason for the selections.

The main reason is because I have been doing a terrible job at keeping up with spin-offs lately. I have been distracted by school work and work work. I want to fit in all the time in the world at making more episodes and reading everyone's spin-offs, but I am priortizing myself. Its not fair for me to vote in all these categories without giving everyone a fair chance.

I think the awards need to be canceled and brought back in May.

Well...users have had 3 months since the last awards, and they haven't really posted their content all that much besides the select few that were nominated. They had 3 months to read the spin offs. And it'll be the same in May; people will still be in school, busy as ever with the spring/summer/end of the year exams.

I don't think I'll vote either as I have the same feelings towards this as Clappy and Ex. You have said you didn't have a lot of Spin-Offs to work with but still you didn't include half of the one's you listed. Sure "Bikini Top" is a great Spin-Off but the other members who spend there own time working hard and writing episodes and not to get nominated in an annual event is pretty hard on them.

I semi agree with the above but eh I'll vote anyway. (I promise to update my spin offs more, so they'll get nominated next time around)

I mean I take a look at the awards and you know what I see? Almost every category possible contains either Bikini Top, Down Under, or both. Now I still stand by my statement that I wish I was more active in making episodes and others probably feel the same way too. Also, I still understand your statement earlier tvman about trying to pick nominations when few new episodes have been made. Still, the nominations feel pretty lopsided and it feels like the only two spin-offs that matter are yours and 70s based off how the ballot looks.

You aren't the only one that has made this mistake in the past, so don't feel like we are making you out to be a bad host. I remember just before I left back in 2009 when jjs was the host of the Spinnys. Jjs had the nominees incredibly lopsided towards his Mermaid Man spin-off. We pointed it out to him too and he changed the list up. I think its a little too late in the voting process to do that now, but oh well

Oh and as for the change in the nomination process. I like Face's idea, but I feel that with the old way more spin-offs get noticed. That doesn't mean I am not for change, I am willing to listen to it.
