SpongeBob Ultra Game!

Okay, here's how the game works:

Each player, or as we'll call them "unit" is assigned a barrier. Each barrier, depending on the unit's occupation, is designed a task with can be divided into different barrier groups. Once one unit has performed each task, he or she moves on to another barrier, which seems a lot easier, but is actually much harder.
Points are awarded to each user who participates is the ultimate trivia challenge, which is held every other Thursday (with the exception of Thursdays landing on the 16th).
Every half hour, the master unit will give a certain mission for each barrier, resulting in certain barriers working together to gain merits.
Each merit can be used to buy out other units who can help you complete each mission.
At the end of each time quarter, each unit must shout out a SpongeBob character's name and the name of the opposing barrier's team in order to win the game. Ties are permissible.
Note that the object of the game is get the least amount of points possible. Rankings will be determined by a group of 7 volunteer judges.
Players will be chosen this week, based on the number of posts they've made and how many vowels are in their username. When one unit is inactive, their substitute unit can take over. Substitute units have the same value as the actual unit, but cannot earn merit points.
Every 56 posts, there will be a play-off between two allied barriers, which will last no longer than 11 minutes.
