Poll Creation

Okay, so I noticed that some people are having troubles with making polls on the topics, and I decided I could created a Tip Topic (say that 10 times fast... ) on the subject to help out those of you having trouble.

POLL CREATION TIPS

This should be pretty simple to figure out, so let's get to it!

So, when you are creating any topic, below it, you shoulkd see things that say "Options," then "Calendar," then "Add a Poll." Obviously, you need to add a poll. So at the right side of the bluish-greenish (I don't know what to call it) bar, there should be a plus sign. Click on that. You'll see that you can add a poll there, and it should be self-explanatory from there, but you may have trouble, so I'll help you out with that. Insert a poll question, the example here is: "What is the maximum amount of choices there are in a poll?" Just so you know, the answer is 10. THAT is the maximum, and I think that's more than enough. You should see that you need to insert a Poll Option, these are the choices for your poll. As I already said, the maximum is 10. It doesn't how long the choice is, it's okay. All you need to do to separate the choices is press "Enter" or "Return" (depending on what type of computer you have). That's what they call a line break . There's the option to have your poll open for a certain amount of time, but I don't usually do that. But it's up to you, if you DO want to do that, simply insert the number of days. If not, leave it blank or put a "0" into the area. Then it says "Multiple Choice." I don't know why it wouldn't be, so you will almost ALWAYS put yes. I'm actually not sure what it would be like if you put no, but hey, if you do... have fun. Then there's Vote Cancelling, I don't know what that is exactly or why you would need it, so whatever. I just leave that on no. From there, it's easy! All you need to do for your poll to show up is Send the message like usual.

You don't just need to do this when creating the thread. You can also do it by editing the first post of a thread you created (unless you're an administrator, then you can do it on any, but most of you don't need to worry about that, no offense ), and follow the steps I mentioned above.
