Episode Discussion: The Masterpiece/Whelk Attack

"The Masterpiece" - Wow, another amazing episode! 10/10 (I recorded it and i'm gonna record the other episode when it gets back from commercial).

Another pair of good episodes.

The Masterpiece

*The grill is a car?

*Mean what?

*Huzzah, it's open!

*No customers, what a disaster.

*Chicken under the sea? Oh wait, it's a costume.

*The restaurant reminds me of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

*Ok, I don't want to eat there.

*Strict Policy.

*Now the real plot begins.

*Squidward says Hi.

*A giant rock? That reminds me of the boulder from Pizza Delivery.

*I did not need to see that.

*Almost done yet?

*What is this I don't even..

*Mr. Krabs finally got his dream to be made of Money (Well, gold).

Grade: B

Whelk Attack

*Awesome opening title music.

*Honestly, I didn't know what a Whelk was until I looked them up on Wikipedia when I heard the episode title.

*Too late.

*Yikes, it literally ate the fish..

*Savages!

*I have a feeling Gary will save the day.

*They seem pissed.

*No, not the Krusty Krab!

*Is there anything that can stop the Whelks?

*This is the first episode where we see Sandy's tree dome completely destroyed.

*Hey, they showed some continuity! Spongebob mentioned he had Suds once, which happened in an older episode.

*The whelks seem cute as babies.

Grade: A

Overall: A-

"Whelk Attack" - great episode and had many references to old Spongebob episodes! 10/10 (P.S. I recorded it but there might be some sound in the background cause my neighbor's dog was barking but it might not be too noticeable, i'm previewing it and I can't really hear any dog barking in the background).

Whelk Attack was awesome,It had great humor. I didn't see TM. Contunity in Spongebob? That's something you don't see everyday. .

Ok,The Masterpiece was decent,not special,but decent. I loved the ending .

Both were AWESOME episodes

I kinda liked ''Whelk Attack'' better, the whelk babies remind me of the worms in ''Pet or Pests''.

The Masterpiece

This episode had an ok plot, ok jokes and an ok out come. Squidward was great but I just felt like the episode sort of dragged. It was by no means bad but it just sort of dragged. The first 3 minutes or so were hilarious with Spongebob going "Undercover" and I liked the ending.

Score for The Masterpiece: B-, 3.5/5, 7/10, Good


Whelk Attack

BEST SEASON 7 EPISODE. This was a classic it could of easily been passed as a season 2/3 episode. The jokes felt fresh and so was the plot. The design of the Whelk's were great not disgusting like the worms in "Pets or Pests". Oh and the animation was great I was amazed at how great it was when the Whelk swallowed Mr Krabs. Amazing Season 7 episode and a great Spongebob episode.

Score for Whelk Attack: A-, 4.5/5, 9/10, Outstanding

PS. I love the reappearance of the realistic fish head he hasn't been it in for years

Those episodes weren't that great for me. Spongebob is really going downhill when these new episodes appear.

I missed it on Nick last Saturday, and they haven't shown a re-run yet. (Don't have Dish, just Cable) Anybody know a link for these episodes?

The Masterpiece: 8.5/10

Whelk Attack: 10/10

Average: 9.5/10

The Masterpiece was very funny. Just didn't make since why the chicken place didn't allow headbands.

Whelk Attack was good, but wasn't nearly as good as the Masterpiece.
