What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
Great. The next thing we need is more Muppet crap spewing from the bottomless Henson pit that is Deli. XDDDD
Anywho, Sesame Street: best thing about my childhood. I loved everyone on Sesame Street, especially Bert and Ernie, and of course, Kermit. XD... Except Elmo... Elmo needs to be shot.
Let's discuss, shall we?

Elmo's the best.
Big Bird always creeped the living bejesus out of me, though.

Re: Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
I just don't like Elmo because he's become a raging attention hog... I miss when Big Bird was more of the star. Other than that, I don't mind him. For some weird reason, Big Bird used to scare me too.
Re: Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
(Sorry for the Double Post) My favorite sketches from Sesame Street were Super Grover, Sesame Street News Flash, and Journey to Ernie. :3

I really just like to watch the classic episodes. The newer ones... not so much.
Re: Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
I was watching one at a friend's house and it had Adam Sandler and Jack Black and Jason Mraz! It was like this flashback eppy with a Memory Bot or something.Deli wrote:I really just like to watch the classic episodes. The newer ones... not so much.

Use to like it as a child, Cookie Monster was always my favorite but it's a little TOO childish for me to watch now.

It's kinda fun to watch now sometimes. xD See how ridiculous it is.storytime7 wrote:Use to like it as a child, Cookie Monster was always my favorite but it's a little TOO childish for me to watch now.

The guests are cool, indeed, but I just don't like some of the new characters like ''Abby Cadabby''... and the fact that they don't do a lot of their coolest and funniest bits anymore, like ''Super Grover!''
Re: Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
I don't remember much of those. =/ I do remember Mr. Noodle, who I had nightmares about.Deli wrote:that70sguy92 wrote:I was watching one at a friend's house and it had Adam Sandler and Jack Black and Jason Mraz! Re: Sesame Street (Show Discussion)
I regret nothing about watching it as a kid, actually... except for the fact that I was madly in love with Elmo, but then again, what three year old at that time WASN'T? Even though he got taken off in 2001, for some reason, Kermit will always be my favorite. I don't know why, he just is. That, and Sesame Street News Flash was pretty funny.

Excuse me, but what exactly does this have to do with Sesame Street? XD And it kinda sounds like you're being the bully, from my perspective. :/
