Cable broadband/phone vs ATT DSL?

I will be moving into a new apartment and I'm trying to figure out the Cable vs DSL deals.

If I do TV, digital telephone, and cable internet through CableVision it would be $90/mo.

If I do only TV through CableVision and my phone and DSL through ATT the bill comes to $99/mo.

I have experience with DSL as I have it now. Connection drops now and then. What kind of performance should I expect out of Cable broadband compared to DSL and do any other people have cable phone and internet. How have you liked it?
