SBC News
What's New? Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons. In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!

I wish I'd seen the first short again and it would be my favorite.

My favorite Pixar short is the one with the checkerboard.

I like the one with the rabbit or whatever it was. Um... it was before The Incredibles.

By far the most amazing animation studio that stands out from the others.

Here are the proper names for most of the PIXAR shorts:
1. "Luxo Jr." (1986, a short with two moving lamps and a ball.)
2. "Tin Toy" (1989, Best Short Animated Theatrical Cartoon about a wooden soldier fleeing from a destructive infant.)
3. "Geri's Game" (1998, Best Short Animated Theatrical Cartoon about a senior citizen who plays checkers by himself.)
4. "For the Birds" (2001, Best Short Animated Theatrical Cartoon about a bunch of little blue birds making fun of the way a tall, awkward acting bird looks and behaves.)
5. "Mike's New Car" (2002, "Monster's Inc." related short about Sully and Mike experiencing the troubles that a new car can present.)
6. "Boundin" (2003, Best Short Animated Theatrical Cartoon Nominee about a sheared sheep who gets advice from a Jackalope.)
7. "Saucer" (2004, a short about a young alien trying to pilot a UFO for the very first time.)
8. "Presto" (2005, a short about a magician trying to make his rabbit magically come out of his hat, but the rabbit refuses to cooperate until he gets a carrot.)
9. "The Dueling Musicians" (2006, Best Short Animated Theatrical Cartoon Nominee about two music performers desperately trying to get a gold coin from a girl, but she wants to use it to make a wish. When the music performers accidentally make the young girl lose her coin, she ends up taking a violin, plays better than either of the men, gets a ton of gold coins for her playing, than throws a gold coin on the top of a wishing fountain where the two performers desperately try to get it.)
10. "Mater and the Ghost Light" (2006, After Mater pranks many of the citizens living in Radiator Springs, Doc Hudson decides to scare him with the Ghost Light story, than works to make Mater believe that he really IS being haunted by the Ghost Light.)
11. "Ratatouille: The Truth About Rats" (2007, Remy and Emile present an educational segment about the history of rats, their role in human society, and try to dispel some of the horrible myths and icky feelings about rats.)
12. "BURN-E" (2008, "WALL-E" side-story on how a light-bulb replacement robot futilely and desperately tries to replace a broken light bulb on the giant spaceship, only to be thwarted consistently by the larger events taking place within the events of the movie "WALL-E.")
13. "Mater's Tall Tales" (2009 and ongoing TV Mini-series revolving around Mater and Lightning McQueen; Mater tells Lightning about his past and the various things he did before moving to Radiator Springs, Mater always manages to find a way to put Lightning in his events to, and while Lightning always doubts him, there's always something that happens to raise the question in Lightning's mind whether or not Mater's stories are true or not.)
14. "Dug's Very Special Mission" (2009, "Up" Back story featuring Dug and some of the other vicious talking dogs of the movie. The Alpha Dog tries to set Dug up with a phony 'special' mission in order to get rid of Dug, but the evil plans always end up backfiring on the evil dogs while Dug emerges unharmed. Eventually, Dug is ditched by his so-called 'buddies,' but Dug ends up proving that good always triumphs over evil when he meets up with Carl Fredrickson and the young boy.)
15. "Day and Night" (2010, Best Animated Theatrical Short; featuring two traditionally hand-drawn cartoon characters with Computer Graphic backgrounds seen within their bodies, Day always seems to be light and bouncy, while Night is somehow always ends up left in the dark. But they soon realize that there are wonderful things to experience both in day-time and night-time, and they learn to embrace new things, especially when Day and Night's positions become reversed and the fun starts all over again.)
There are some other PIXAR shorts besides the ones I have mentioned, but those are the ones that I have seen and remembered enough to write down here. Score Board
