What's New? Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons. In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!

Post by Clappy 8/10/2011, 3:50 pm

Hello, SBC. Time to discuss a timeless classic movie from the genius that is Quentin Tarantino.

Pulp Fiction is a movie about the intersecting storylines of Los Angeles mobsters, fringe players, small-time criminals, and a mysterious briefcase. Easily the best black comedy ever. Stars John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L Jackson, Bruce Willis, Christopher Walken, and a hell of a lot of other people.

If you haven't seen this movie, go see it now.

I'm shocked no one's said "ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT" to any of the grammar challenged members on here.

what
And now I'm scarred for life.

Pulp Fiction is a pretty cool movie. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me hurl, just like any great 90s film would.

I was more introduced to animation than live-action movies. And besides, I'll watch that movie anyways, as soon as I watch all the other movies you guys wanted me to watch.

The best part of the whole movie was the conversation about what McDonald's sandwiches are called in different countries. I even parodied that conversation in my spin-offs, once in "Spongebob and Friends," and once on "Total Cartoon Island." Here is the original conversation, slightly edited for content:

Samuel L. Jackson: "So tell me again about McDonald's in other countries?" John Travolta: "It's like this, McDonald's in Europe have the same kinds of things that we do here (U.S.A.) except for little differences." Jackson: "Example." Travolta: "Okay, do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France?" Jackson: "Let me guess; they don't call it a Quarter Pounder with Cheese?" Travolta: "No, they don't call it a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France, they wouldn't even know what the f*** a quarter pound is! They use the metric system!" Jackson: "So what DO they call them?" Travolta: "They call it a freaking Royale Burger with Cheese!" Jackson: "No kidding?" Travolta: "No way!" Jackson: "Well, what do they call a Big Mac in Spain?" Travolta: "Like, a Big Mac IS a Big Mac, they just call it a Los tis Mac." Jackson: "Los Tis Mac? Well, what about the Whopper?" Travolta: "Nah, I never went to Burger King." /

One of the funniest movie conversations ever! HAHA Enough said! Wink

Wouldn't say that was the best conversation in the movie (you are forgetting the scene with John Travolta and Uma Thurman in the diner) but the fact that you like the movie is +100 internets.
