Honestly, tell me who else knew this was a series? There was a PS2 game released a while back titled Red Dead Revolver. Then, not too long ago, we get Read Dead Redemption, which basically forgets Read Dead Revolver except for some characters.

I had the original Revolver but it got lost in my gaming shuffle. Redemption is meant to be a spiritual successor of sorts which explains why it disregards pretty much all of the previous game. Anyway, Redemption was fucking epic. One of the best and most emotional games I've ever played.

I hear Red Dead Redemption is fantastic.
Red Dead Revolver. I remember that being a meh game. Visually it looked good, but the controls I disliked.

and yeah, RDRevolver wasn't the best game, but I loved playing it with friends(Couch multiplayer, not online)

If you get Redemption, you MUST download Undead Nightmare(or buy it seperately all together). It kicks major zombie ass.
