A Bikini Bottom History

A spin off cataloguing the complete history of the great city of Bikini Bottom!

Episode 1: 1000 to 1020

During the Eurlogeon Revolt of the year 1000, thousands of millions of fish friend from the burning metropolis of Anayus. They headed west, away from the collapsing Empire Besp. The Eurlogeons explored unknown land, which consisted of mostly sand, rock, and algae. These pioneers created a special kind of transporter: rocks! Using rocks, they travelled much more quickly and also discovered a specialized kind of navigation. Whichever side of a rock algae built off of pointed to civilization!

By doing this, they discovered dozens of small native fish tribes. Instead of taking their lands, the Eurlogeons simply joinged the native fish and began to build all across the Pacific ocean. Among these fish utopias were Shell City, Coralwood, Conch City, Bikini Top, Water Falls, and hundreds of other fish metros. One small , struggling town named Bikini Bottom was made up of a mixture of natives and new comers. The town only featured a puny bank, a mart, a few houses, and a clothing store.

Live progressed this way for several more years. Their culture advanced, bringing with it new ways of completing tasks and making life easier for them. The boatmobile was invented by a fish from Kelp Flowers named David Ford. The natives and the new citizens worked together to create art, build towering buildings, and progress intellectually in a way the Empire Besp hadn't been able to do and achieve.

However, because of this, there were also complications. The banking system fell into hell when a corrupt native leader grew angry at the newcomers and robbed the banks of most of their money. He then burnt it all, and cities went in panic. After spending all of their money they had on hand, people began to riot. The cities were in turmoil and the native leader was killed. The natives took great offense to this, even though the native leader had started it. They broke their relationship they had with the Eurlogeons and decided to take back their land.

War broke out, and the individual cities (having not formed into a singe country in fear of a repeat of the Empire Besp fall) tried to defend themselves against the rising threat. The small tribes banded together, and they formed in large numbers. They attacked several enormous cities, including Conch City, New Kelp City, Kelp Flowers, Shell City, and even Bikini Top. However, because Bikini Bottom currently had a population of around forty fish, it wasn't torn apart.

With all of the major metropolises burnt and fallen, survivors of the attacks fled to the small towns like Conch Shells, Bikini Bottom, and Fishington (the future capital of the United Oceans which would be created soon). Bikini Bottom, however, received the most amount of people and in order to deal with the waves of people began to build and build. The natives slowed it down though, with constant attacks every week. However, after a year, Bikini Bottom had drastically grown. They became more organized during the continuous chaos that was the dispute with the Natives. They formed a democratic government and elected Bikini Bottom's first mayor, Sara Loan, a promising young fish who had fought back against the Natives. She believed they could win and defeat the enemy if they banded together and fought.

After seven months of planning, a successful army was implemented. They guarded Bikini Bottom's borders 24/7. Sarah's plan was working. The city kept expanding as to meet the paralleling growing population. The natives attempted to attack many more times, but the Bikini Bottom Army fended them off. After a year since her election, Mayor Loan had successfully kept the city safe and warded off the Natives.

Meanwhile, however, the Natives also expanded. They wrapped themselves around Bikini Bottom and took the neighboring cities and towns for their own. Sarah received word that Conch Shells had fallen and that Fishington was barely fighting off the Natives. She decided to make her move and rescue the stranded fish. She dispatched her army to battle the Natives and informed her citizens the would have to defend themselves. The citizens were prepared; a bloody battle took place known as the Battle of the Bikini Bottom. Bikini Bottomites fought bravely, with 30,000 of them dying in the end. The mission was successful though, with the Army defeating the Natives and rescuing the other fish.

After dropping off the fish from Conch Shells and Fishington, the Army proceeded to fight the Natives. Following a series a harsh battles and wars, they beat the Natives and took the Pacific for their own. It was now 1020, and the Bikini Bottomites finally spread out over the ocean and began to rebuild their cities their originated from. In order to prevent any further threats like this, the cities banded together in a country called the United Pacificas of the Ocean (UPO).
