1/15/11 (NEW YEAR)

Maybe it's the fact that I can't sit at her table in lunch because I threw a banana peel at her bitchy friend, or maybe it's because she dropped out of my English, but I'm finding it easy to ignore Kali. So now I'm attempting to run for Freshman Treasurer at school. I filled out some paper work and I hope to be in the running.

Good luck with Treasurer. I'm in Student Government at my school, but I haven't really been reaching for treasurer (mainly because I don't want to do much work ).

Treasurer involves work? Aw crap. And I don't know, make some posters, and ask people to vote me.

No, here's what you do.

1.) Buy some cookies, candy, or something from the store. Get a pass from a teacher or a staff member. Set up a table and pass out sweets at lunch, in the halls, or nutrition. Say, "Hayden for President!" or whatever your real name is.
2.) Make papers using the school library. Try to use nice fonts and colorful paper is colored paper is available.
3.) Put a BUNCH of decorated posters. Make the posters stick out from the other posters and make them grab the readers' attention.
4.) Tell anyone and everyone to vote for you. Pass out the papers you made and tell them about your ideas.
5.) Outdo your opponent. If your opposing candidate says that he/she'll put more money for day trips, say you'll take them to Knott's Berry Farm or an amusement park of some sort. Just try to step up.
6.) Be LIKEABLE. Be funny. Be kind. Be helpful. Make people WANT to vote for you.

Well here is what made me decide to run for it. It was January 5th, 10 days ago. I was going to an Assembly and ran into my buddy/sidekick Loren. I talked with him and then as I was walking down I missed a step and stumbled. Then this stuck up girl, my nemesis Olivia, mocked me about it. She was with her BFF Emma. So then I started arguing with her, and as luck would have it, because I liked annoying her, she and Emma wound up sitting next to Loren and I. While the assembly started, which was about the freshman election, Loren pulled out some item and touched Olivia with it claiming it read that she was a devil. That pissed her off.When the assembly was over, I got the urge to get the papers to run for election. So I got them, and when I got back to Science, found out Evan (Olivia's boyfriend or friend, idk and idc) was running, but for Vice President. We get along though. I won't bore you with how I completed the papers and turned them in.

And thanks for the tips, I'll put em to good use.

No prob. I've always had a thing for politics and elections. I was 2nd grade class present, 4th Grade Grade President, 6th Grade Class President, and I'm currently serving as 8th Grade ASB President. xD

Oh yea! That just might make me look like an idiot.

Last week of school besides the week of finals, I seriously can't believe how fast time has passed. But anyways, as you can see in my signature, I'm hoping to continue being a Treasurer for my sophomore year, elections are on Thursday. It's gonna be a busy week, especially with me trying to patch things up with Olivia, who is the person I like now, it's a long story that I'll save for another day.

You'd better stay on SBC this time.
