Well... no. I don't hate Elmo, I'm just not crazy about him. Elmo's cute and everything, but I don't think he even deserves his own segment, really. He was just a background character in the 70's, then he became a cute regular character in the 80's, he was a little more prominent in the 90's, and nowadays he takes up every scene on Sesame Street.
