What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Linkin Park
Linkin Park is one of my very favorite bands. And please don't tell me I'm the only person here who's a fan. I haven't heard all of their songs, but I've heard about 75% so I think that's good.
Lately they've been following the footsteps of 3 Doors Down and writing songs for the army (See video below). They don't usually do that, but I think that's really cool that they've been supporting our troops.
The band, however, has underwent many stereotypes; mainly by parents and teenage preppy girls. The stereotypes that if you listen to Linkin Park, you're automatically emo. But whatever.
If you haven't heard them before:

Anyway, Linkin Park is one of my FAVORITE bands, they have been for so long. My favorite songs are "Valentine's Day" and "One Step Closer"

I haven't heard those yet. Meh, I'll get them on iTunes. I asked my dad for their new album for Christmas.
Re: Linkin Park
Linkin Park is easily my favorite band! Glad to see another fan on here! A Thousand Suns was a really good album despite the fact that it was a whole different kind of music compared to "Hyprid Theory" and "Minutes to Midnight."

Totally. What did you think of Robot Boy and Iridescent? Those were two of my favorites.
Re: Linkin Park
Robot Boy is very good. I like the piano in the background. It's very catchy!Deli wrote:TarterSauce25 wrote:Linkin Park is easily my favorite band! Glad to see another fan on here! Iridescent is a sad, but awesome song. I enjoy it.
I dunno much about these 2, so I can't say much more.

Re: Linkin Park
Just like I said in The Killers thread, I must say that I am not a huge fan of mainstream rock music, but just like with The Killers, I also like Linkin Park.
I was kinda disappointed with their new cd though =\

The Killers are also a fantastic band. I don't listen to them much, but they are very talented.

Re: Linkin Park
I love Linkin Park, even though I reckon I haven't heard that much of them, but what I've heard, I think is great. In the End is definitely my favorite, and New Divide is pretty good too.
Re: Linkin Park
Easily the best Linkin Park song in the past couple years

Re: Linkin Park
Yeah the song is amazing, starts slow, then begins picking up speed and is rap/techno. Not to mention the music video is bizarre.Clappy wrote:

Fixed. They didn't make the whole soundtrack for either of those movies, they had one song on each soundtrack.
