Episode Discussion: Krusty Dogs/The Wreck of Mauna Loa

Discuss the new episodes airing today at 9:30 AM for U.S. They look pretty good.

I can't wait they both sound very original and hopefully they live up to the high standards of the last 6 or so episodes

Both were pretty good episodes.

Krusty Dogs

*I love Hotdogs, so I would love to have a Krusty Dog.

*More fancy ways to stack the patties.

*Spongebob has good sculpture making skills. Well, out of patty meat.

*Now he invents..The Krusty Dog!

*After such a long time, they add something new to the menu.

*No more Krabby Patties? I did not approve of this.

*Too bad it's not a dream.

*Farewell, Grill and Spatula.

*Lulz at Squidward's Krusty dog costume.

*Or you know, just keep both.

*Another failed attempt.

*Well, I certainly don't want to be in the shoes of that poor fish.

*Boom.

*Out with the Krusty Dogs, and back with the Krabby Patty.

The Wreck of Mauna Loa

*Yikes.

*Awesome ship. I wonder if it is Haunted..

*Give me some of that gold.

*2 Patty Sculptures in 2 episodes.

*Now they are both obsessing over it.

*More Money obsession from Mr. Krabs. Shocker.

*Well, I know where the secret hideout is. And so does the millions of other people who watched this episode.

*D'aww, what a shame.

*Wait..it's a ride?

*It's fake, Krabs.

*The cavern reminds me of the cavern from Chum Caverns.

*Let's hope that ship doesn't break.

*I would ride that if it wasn't falling apart.

*Now the ship is literally a wreck.

*Farewell, short lived Ride.

Overall: A-

I only got a chance to record Krusty Dogs. My neighbor's dog was barking too much, so I couldn't record the second one.

They didn't show one yet. I checked the schedules on nick.com and toonzone and none of them said they would play a re-run yesterday or today. I'm still waiting for a re-run cause I didn't get to see the last minute of "The Wreck of the Mauna Loa", and cause I have to record it.

Good news and bad news.

Good news: They showed a rerun and I recorded it.

Bad news: I missed the title card and the first 15 second of the episode, but nothing important happens in the first few second of the episode anyway.

I missed part of Krusty Dogs, but from what I saw, it was pretty good.

As for TWoML, it was ok.

Krusty dogs was kinda dull.
But The Wreck of Mauna Loa was great!

Krusty Dogs

When I first watched this episode I found it to be pretty dull. After a re watch I found it to be much better. The plot was pretty good and I loved some of the jokes. Everyone was in character and the episode turned out to be very good. Even though the plot kind of mirrored "Patty Hype" they still managed to vary it a bit.

The Wreak of Mauna Loa

A great episode. I loved the plot (Again) and it had some great jokes (Again) I found it to be quite boring at times but it was still great. The ending was hilarious which raised my score from 7.5 to 8.0. I'd say it was on level with "Buried in Time" which was great.

I actually thought it was a bit like Greasy Buffoons.

Sorta but the way I see it is like this....

Patty Hype: Spongebob makes a new patty that puts the fate of the Krusty Krab in the balance

Krusty Dogs was alright, but I loved Mauna Loa

Krusty Dogs was pretty funny and Mauna Loa was okay. Krusty Dogs was definatley the better of the two.
