SBC News
What's New? Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons. In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!

The Moon Landing -- Legit?

Post by that70sguy92 on 4/28/2010, 7:51 pm

Do you think the moon landing was staged, or real?

I don't think it actually happened. I have my reasons, but for now discuss what you think.

Brittany: Well, family is a place where everybody loves you no matter what. And they accept you for who you are. I know I'm going to be a bridesmaid at Mike and Tina's wedding. And I'm going to be anxiously waiting just like everybody else to see if their babies are Asian too. When they find an operation to make Artie's legs work again, I'm going to be there for his first steps. I love them, I love everyone in glee club and I get to spend another year with the people I love. So, I'm good.
Santana: What about you and I?
Brittany: I love you Santana. I love you more than I've ever loved anyone else in this world. All I know about you and I is that because of that, I think anything's possible.
Santana: When did you get so smart?

I've checked out Wikipedia's article about moon-landing conspiracies, but it was just way too much to read for me. I guess I'll just stick with YouTube.

They proved all the conspiritor theories wrong on mythbusters, proving what happened real. They also put a reflector thing on the moon when the went and the reflector reflected back proving they went to the moon.

Re: The Moon Landing -- Legit?

Real? I doubt it was faked. I mean, the NASA sceintists say it's true. The only people who seem to deny it are fat nerds who sit on the computer typing stuff on the internet all day, and then many more people believe them. I know who I'd rather believe. Then again, NASA could secretly be a team of aleins who are to infiltrate the Earth, and made up the rumors about their being no life on the Moon. Yeah. It was probably real.

Although Phoebe from FRIENDS nearly convinced me otherwise. But I didn't agree with her...I just love her. Smile

So the pictures were faked, and Buzz Aldrin is very emotional. That doesn't mean it didn't happen.

in my science class we watched an episode of "Mythbusters" about the Moon landing and they did tests to see if it was a hoax and they confirmed that while not all the evidence hold up, it couldn't have been faked.

Personally, I don't like Mythbusters, so it may distort my views on them, but not everyone is right all the time. Silly Face! With enough effort, I strongly believe anything can be faked. On Lost, a plane being found with 324 casualties was faked. Sure it's a TV show, but it could happen. The only ingredient needed is money. Lots and lots of money. But remember I'm stubborn.

I don't like Mythbusters either but my teacher decided to play an episode cause we were ahead of the other classes so they was no classwork to do, it's still better than doing classwork though (cause you don't have to take notes when you're watching it so you can just fall asleep till the bell rings if you want and the teacher says nothing) yeah, with enough effort anything can be faked and they aren't exactly the smartest people on Mythbusters but I still doubt that it was faked.
