What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

They really can't help that. =/ Willing to bet they're working out a deal, as they did for The Beatles. I'd expect them to come conveniently around the holidays.Fa wrote:Pretty reliable, although they do some things that irritate me (get AC/DC and Def Lepperd on iTunes dammit)

But besides a few slight problems, they have an enormous library of music. I think we can all agree on that.

Oh, and if you like the album artwork and the CD doesn't have it, right click the album cover (which is blank) and there should be a "Get Album Artwork" option. This, of course, doesn't work if iTunes doesn't have the music though. :/

Re: iTunes
i have itunes and i love it. you can purchase and download all your favorite songs, movies, tv shows, games, and apps. they have something available for everyone. it's your ultimate source of entertainment and gems.
but, there are some problems with it too that i have experienced and i am not happy about it. and for that i like itunes a little less now. first, apple needs to cool it with the version updates. they make a new one like every two weeks. they barely give you any time to stay with the current version you have. second, they raised their song prices from 99 cents to 1.29 a while ago. seriously? not cool at all. they are pushing the limits. other than that though, itunes is great.

A while ago? For as long as I can remember the more popular titles have been $1.29. There are still plenty of $0.99 and even $0.69 songs.person wrote:i have itunes and i love it. you can purchase and download all your favorite songs, movies, tv shows, games, and apps. they have something available for everyone. it's your ultimate source of entertainment and gems.

Def Leppard only has a single live album on there, so you either dowloaded:
1. The live version from the album "Mirror Ball - Live and More"
2. A tribute version from a cover band
Whatever the case, you didn't get what you wanted. Sorry dude.

Re: iTunes
whatever the reason Def Leppard's music is not in iTunes, then how come the live and tribute version is still on there? and Def Leppard is singing all the songs on the albums. so its music IS on there, but just not the original. SERIOUSLY WTF? whatever the reason may be why Def's music is not on iTunes, if its music is not on iTunes, then that should mean that NONE of his music is on there, including the live and tribute version. BUT WHY ARE THEY ON THERE? if the live and tribute versions are on there, then its originals should also be on there as well. if they got rid of Def's music on iTunes, then that should mean the live and tribute versions should not be on there either. But that's not the case. So they took off JUST their originals? THATS BS. i don't understand this at all.
well, looks like i have to go out and buy the CD just like i have to buy Kid Rock's CD too. THATS NOW CDS TO BUY FOR ONE SONG JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ON ITUNES. I HAVE TO PAY 20 DOLLARS FOR 2 SONGS. BS. I would buy the albums on ebay, but my dad's PayPal account balance is at 0 because he owes them money. He said god knows how long that will take. I don't want to wait either. Not just the albums. There are other things I want to buy on ebay as well like 3 spongebob dvds, 2 full house dvds to complete my collection, and a 50 DOLLAR ITUNES CARD FOR JUST 12 DOLLARS. buyers only accept paypal, so ya. the conditions for everything was listed as either like new or very good, and most items accepted returns. but looks like i have to go to the store. BS. i could have gotten them all on ebay for 55 dollars instead of 160 dollars. i could have saved 105 DOLLARS ON EVERYTHING. but not anymore unless i wait a long time.

The tributes are not by Def Leppard, and the main reason for the absence of the originals is because of copyrights and record labels. The real reason that the Beatles weren't on iTunes until last year were because of the label that owned the rights (which was owned by MJ) didn't relinquish the rights until last year, and the same thing here. The original Aerosmith records are JUST being released this september because their original label didn't relinquish the rights until now. And also, the reason the live album may be on there is because that it was sponsored by a different label and they were fine with releasing the live album. I'm pretty sure that the label will eventually release the originals, but if you really want to get the original version of Pour Some Sugar on Me, you could easily find a best of or the original album and upload it to iTunes and the to your iPod quite easily.

Re: iTunes
how? by buying the best of or original album? as i said, id be paying 10 dollars just for 1 song (unless they have the song on an album as a single), and that's just not worth it.

Well, maybe you'd find other songs you like on a best of album since they try to collect the most popular/critically acclaimed songs from the band. And as for putting them on your iPod, you just put the CD in your drive and upload it to iTunes, and then you upload it to your iPod like any other songs. Also, you could always just listen to the song(s) on Youtube, since the vast majority of them are on there if you don't want to keep spending money on albums. Just sayin'
