We've hit 500 members!SBC News
What's New?
Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. The first 5 users to find a golden ticket hidden somewhere on the forum, will get early access to v7! Congratulations to SOF who was the first person to find the ticket. Remember - use your heads! There are only 3 spots left. See the "Lost Temple" announcement on the homepage for more. Speaking of contests, don't forget to participate in our other contest to put a funny, original caption on an image. The winner will receive 1000 doubloons.
In the future... SBC will be moving to vBulletin on August 26th, 2011. This will also be the launch of v7. We had a good time on forumotion, but it is time for us to move. Stay tuned for more!Richest Users

Wrestling
Any wrestling fans out there? Wrestling has and will always be cheesy. Everyone knows its fake, but I can't help but watch it anyway and not be entertained.
WWE - Easily the most recognizable company. Has entertaining storylines and plenty of good wrestlers. The most recognizable name is John Cena. I am not a fan of John Cena as a wrestler since he can't sell any wrestling moves whatsoever, but he does a good job representing the company.
TNA - I think they have a better roster than WWE, but holy crap they don't know how to produce anything decent. They can't write a good storyline that is worth a crap and they don't let their wrestlers wrestle long enough matches to show how great they really are. I don't see this company lasting another five years or so, but if they do, I will be impressed. Oh and the most recognizable names in that company is without a doubt Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.
ROH - Not really televised, but they don't focus on storylines as much as WWE and TNA does, they just go out there and put on fantastic, entertaining matches. I just wish they had more of a following and got more television exposure.
Anyway, discuss

ROH = Def best out there. Too bad their tv deal with HDNet didn't get renewed.

Re: Wrestling
Well OMJ (since no one else is stepping up to the plate about wrestling besides the two of us ), how do you feel about The Miz vs Jerry "The King" Lawler for the title?
I personally think that this is more of a set-up for a possible Jerry Lawler vs Michael Cole match at Wrestlemania since they keep pointing out that The King has never had his Wrestlemania moment whenever they are on commentary.

Re: Wrestling
Hopefully it'll be a lead-in for Lawler vs. Cole. No offense to the guy, but I can't see him as champion, period. I also heard they've been having Michael Cole actually take up training in order to duke it out in the ring, so it makes sense to have a match between these two, especially with all the bad blood they've been having so far.

Only excited to see The Rock & Stone Cold. Nothing else seems to really gage my interest besides The Miz & Del Rio (who I hope both will end up walking out of their respective title matches with the titles, but doubt BOTH will).

^ This. And if anything, I wish they had paired Snooki up with Zack Ryder. They would make quite the duo.

I wouldn't mind, I find Zack Ryder a lot more entertaining. I wish they'll find something for him to do other than be relegated to Superstars.

And to think people were actually pulling for Dibiase to be more of a success than Cody. Ever since he inducted his father into the Hall of Fame, I could tell Cody could go places if given the right push. Cody was always the better half of Legacy to me.

Still, shame they were all written off like that despite their blandness.

Still, shame they were all written off like that despite their blandness.

CM Punk better win this Sunday too.
I'd be damned if he takes out ALL of New Nexus
Speaking of Cena, The Rock's gonna kick his candy ass...hard.

I read somewhere that they're leaning towards being more 'pg-13' in the future...on Raw at least. Not too crazy and raunchy, yet not too campy.

Wrestling is lame, but I do love to watch the divas (Is that what they are called Bobby?) fight.

R.I.P. "Macho Man" Randy Savage. I know its three days late, but he was one of my favorite wrestlers growing up. I am going to snap into a Slim Jim in your memory.

I went to my first live show yesterday! So much fun, especially since Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon were both there!
I actually got to meet Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez at Burger King after the show. So awesome!

Lucky bastard. I only went to a house show down in Hawaii. I got to somewhat meet Tiffany because she was planted in the audience a seat behind me for a contest where a lid could win front row seats. I shook her hand and complimented her make-up. Best ten minutes ever.
Independent wise, a local promotion HCW, had this big show going on and they had Samoa Joe, Rikishi, The Great Muta, and even Sting on hand. I managed to meet Joe and Rikishi at the post event festivities, and I struck up a good conversation with Sting about which wrestling school to go to should I ever get into it. I need to find mah pics.

Oh God yes! Yes! YES! That was an epic eargasm. Only wish he wasn't cut off right when he got to the juicy stuff. "Idiot daughter and doofus son in law" that was music to my ears.
