One evening, which was just a few minutes ago, I watched some TV, Big Time Beach Party was on(cuz' there was nothing on), and I noticed that Patchy the Pirate made an appearance on it. Which is why I'd turn around when I see the subplot with Patchy making his appearance.

I've never quite understood the purpose of Patchy's existence, but perhaps Nickelodeon wanted to bring a very-successful show into one of the less-successful shows. Silly Face!

I used to like Patchy the Pirate up until he appeared in Atlantis SquarePantis. Ever since then, his skits have just been unfunny and take too much time away from the actual cartoon. I'd like to see SpongeBob do an entire TV Movie without Patchy interstitials.

When Patchy was in this episode, I was like, "Whoa, what's he doing there? o.o" I thought he's meant to be a SpongeBob character only, but eh, I guess he had a role to play in BTR. Found this surprising.
