Currently.... SBC has hit over 500 members! This is great news for us, and hopefully we'll be getting to 600 members soon. Also, a brand new contest is going on. Android really took off about two years ago, in February 2009. They've had several operating systems:
Android 1.1 SDK (Released February 2009)
Android 1.5 Cupcake (Released April 30, 2009)
Android 1.6 Donut (Released September 15, 2009)
Android 2.0/2.2 Eclair (Released October 26, 2009)
Android 2.2 Froyo (Released May 20, 2010)
(NEW) Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Released December 6, 2010)
(SOON) Android 3.0 Honeycomb (Scheduled for early 2011 launch)
(DISTANT FUTURE) Android 3.2 Ice Cream (Scheduled for late 2011 launch)
(DISTANT, DISTANT FUTURE) Android 3.5 Jelly Bean (Late 2012)
Does anyone have a Droid? If so, will they be upgrading to Gingerbread? It's a free upgrade to the new OS, by the way.
