Another issue

Okay, so you know how I was really confused a while back because I was in love with a boy, but also liked another girl? Well, I finally got through that. But now I think I have feelings for my step-brother. I mean, we've known each other for five years and we have nearly everything in common. The only problems are that I'm really unattractive compared to the girls he's into, he's a year older, and well... he's my step-brother. I can't help but feel hot and nervous around him and he makes me laugh a lot. I swear, whenever I'm near him my heart skips a beat or two. I know, I have a messed up love life. What should I do?

Umm..he's your step-brother. Technically not blood related, but its still kinda gross to me.

I used to be in love with someone in my family who's not blood-related either...
It's not that weird, just don't ruin your familysituation with it, maybe you can tell it to your mom.

I already did a while back. She didn't give me any advice. Which is weird, because usually she does.

It's not an abhorrent thing, but I think you should ask some people for advice.

We all have forbidden crushes, whether it be someone who's taken, someone who goes to another school, or, in your case, your stepbrother. I know it may be hard, but just respect him as much as you would respect someone who's in a relationship with another person. Trust me, you're not the only person who's been screwed over with love.

Don't feel bad to enjoy the feelings you get.
